What is an airdrop?

A crypto airdrop is the process of sending free coins or tokens to selected wallet addresses or users who meet certain criteria (for example, own a certain Ordinal collection).

What happens if active-loan collateral receives an airdrop?

The airdrop remains in the loan's escrow wallet. If the borrower repays the loan, it is unlocked with the collateral automatically. If the loan defaults, the lender can unlock the collateral and airdrop through the airdrop claim feature.

Runes note: If Runes used as collateral receive a Runes airdrop, the original collateral and airdropped Runes are split into separate UTXOs.

How do I find out if I have an airdrop in my escrow wallet?

1. Go to ordiscan.com.

2. Paste your Taproot (Ordinals) address and head to the "Activity" tab.

3. Find the Ordinal you used in a loan and check where it was sent to when the loan started, this is the escrow address.

4. You can click on the escrow address to see if any airdrops were sent to it.

Who can claim the airdrop?

The airdrop can be claimed by whoever is claiming the collateral -- lender or borrower.

If the borrower repaid the loan, the borrower will get the airdrop. If the borrower did not repay the loan and it expired, the lender will get the airdrop.

What is live regarding airdrop/rune claims?

1. An ordinal airdrop claim page for v0.3. Any ordinal airdrop received during and after a loan on v0.3 can be claimed via that claim page retroactively https://app.liquidium.wtf/airdrop-claim. To claim out of all of your escrows please follow this steps 👇:

a. Head to your settings and click on "airdrop claim".

b. Scan your escrows to see your airdrops in the escrows.

c. Click on "*claim"* and sign the transaction.

d. Your airdrop is on the way to you.

2. A runes airdrop claim page for v0.3. Any rune airdrop received during and after a loan on v0.3 can be claimed via that claim page retroactively https://app.liquidium.wtf/airdrop-claim. To claim out of all of your escrows please follow this steps 👇:

a. Head to your settings and click on "airdrop claim".

b. Scan your escrows to see your airdrops in the escrows.

c. Click on "*claim"* and sign the transaction.

d. Your airdrop is on the way to you.

Notes:

• Airdrops can only be claimed 12 hours after the loan terminates.
• You can claim all airdrops from one escrow together. If you have multiple escrows, process them one at a time and wait for each claim to reach your wallet before starting the next.
• Check both your BTC balance and confirmed BTC before claiming. More than one attempt may occasionally be required.
