On Bitcoin, you can borrow BTC against supported Ordinals and Runes or lend BTC to Bitcoin asset holders. Bitcoin loans use Bitcoin-native transactions and contracts. On Ethereum, you can borrow ETH against supported Ethereum NFTs or lend ETH to NFT holders. Principal and repayment settle in WETH, and you pay Ethereum mainnet gas in ETH. On Robinhood Chain, you can borrow ETH or USDG against supported Robinhood Chain NFTs or lend ETH or USDG to NFT holders. ETH-labelled loans settle in WETH, USDG loans settle in USDG, and you pay Robinhood Chain gas in ETH. ## Bitcoin Collateral Ordinal inscriptions are unique digital assets recorded on individual satoshis on Bitcoin. Runes are a fungible token standard on Bitcoin built around its UTXO model and OP_RETURN. ## Choose Your Path - Bitcoin: borrow BTC against supported Bitcoin assets, lend BTC, manage offers, and understand network fees and loan risk. - Ethereum: borrow ETH against supported Ethereum NFTs or lend ETH to NFT holders. Principal and repayment settle in WETH, and you pay Ethereum mainnet gas in ETH. - Robinhood Chain: borrow ETH or USDG against supported Robinhood Chain NFTs or lend ETH or USDG to NFT holders. ETH-labelled loans settle in WETH, USDG loans settle in USDG, and you pay Robinhood Chain gas in ETH. ## Before You Start - Check the network, asset, principal, interest, duration, and every wallet prompt before signing. - Loans have no price-based liquidation. If you miss the repayment deadline, the lender can claim your collateral. ## Continue With Ethereum ## Continue With Robinhood Chain ## Continue With Bitcoin # Choose a Network URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/start/choose-a-network Start with the network where your collateral lives. Each network has its own wallets, settlement currencies, fees, and loan contracts. ## Choose Bitcoin Use the Bitcoin flow for Ordinals, Runes, and BTC-denominated peer-to-peer loans settled with Bitcoin transactions: 1. You hold supported Bitcoin assets and want to borrow BTC. 2. You want to lend BTC against Bitcoin assets and earn a yield. 3. You are comfortable working with Bitcoin native wallets, Bitcoin transaction times, confirmations, UTXOs, and PSBT wallet prompts. ## Choose Ethereum Choose Ethereum if your NFT is on Ethereum mainnet. 1. Borrow ETH against your supported Ethereum NFT. 2. Lend ETH to Ethereum NFT holders. 3. Settle principal and repayment in WETH, keep ETH for gas, and review wallet approvals before signing. ## Choose Robinhood Chain Choose Robinhood Chain if your NFT is on Robinhood Chain. 1. Borrow ETH or USDG against your supported Robinhood Chain NFT. 2. Lend ETH or USDG to Robinhood Chain NFT holders. 3. Settle ETH-labelled loans in WETH or use USDG where offered, keep ETH for gas, and review wallet approvals before signing. # Borrow BTC Against Ordinals URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/borrow-against-ordinals Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/11579500-borrowing-btc-against-ordinals-instant-manual Borrow BTC against an Ordinal through an Instant or lender-approved Manual loan. Liquidium.WTF offers two primary methods for borrowing against Ordinals: 1. **Instant Loans:** A streamlined process where you borrow from lender's vault, receiving funds quickly after one confirmation. 2. **Manual (Classic) Loans:** The traditional peer-to-peer (P2P) method where you accept offers created by other users (lenders). This requires the lender to manually countersign the loan. Choose the method that best suits your needs for speed and flexibility. ## 1. Instant Loans for Ordinals Instant Loans provide the fastest way to borrow BTC against your Ordinals. You interact with lender's vaults, bypassing the need for one more approval from lenders. **Prerequisites:** - **Compatible Wallet:** Ensure you have a compatible wallet connected. Supported wallets include Xverse, Magic Eden, UniSat, Leather, OKX, and Wizz Wallet. Ledger hardware wallets are not currently supported for Ordinal-loan signing. - **Sufficient Ordinals:** You need Ordinals in your wallet to cover the collateral amount. [UTXOs and UTXO Consolidation](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9251538-utxos-and-utxo-consolidation) - **Sufficient BTC for Fees:** You need enough *confirmed* BTC in your wallet to cover the Bitcoin network fees for starting and repaying the loan. **Steps to Borrow Instantly:** 1. **Connect Wallet:** Connect your preferred wallet to Liquidium.WTF. You may need to sign one or two messages to confirm your Ordinals and payment addresses, depending on the wallet. 2. **Navigate & Select Instant:** Go to the main borrowing page and select the "Ordinals" tab. Toggle the switch in the upper-right corner from "Manual" to "Instant" if it's not set to "Instant" already. ![](/images/docs/intercom/11579500-01.avif) ![](/images/docs/intercom/11579500-02.avif) 3. **Find Ordinals & Click Borrow:** Browse the available Ordinals projects. Once you find the Ordinals you hold and wish to use as collateral, click the "Borrow" button next to it. 4. **Accept Offers:** Accept the offer with the highest LTV. Note: Liquidium.WTF has no price based liquidations. 5. **Review Terms & Submit:** The modal will show the best available loan terms including the BTC amount you'll receive, the interest rate, loan duration, and LTV. Review these details carefully. If you're satisfied, click "Submit". 6. **Confirm in Wallet:** Your wallet will prompt you to sign the transaction. Confirm the transaction details in your wallet. 7. **Receive Funds:** Once the Bitcoin transaction receives one confirmation on the blockchain (typically around 10 minutes), the loan starts, and the borrowed BTC will be sent to your wallet. The loan will appear under the "Borrowing" tab on your [Portfolio page](https://app.liquidium.wtf/portfolio). **Fees for Instant Ordinals Borrowing:** - **Activation Fee:** An activation fee is deducted from the principal loan amount when the loan starts. Activation fees only occur on instant loans. The fee is calculated as the **higher** of: - 0.75% of the principal loan amount, **OR** - A minimum fee of 1000 sats. - **Network Fees:** The borrower pays the Bitcoin network fees (gas fees) for both starting the loan and repaying the loan. These fees vary based on network congestion. [Transaction Time and Fees](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9761259-transaction-time-and-fees) For details on potential platform fee discounts based on token holdings, see [Tiered Platform Fee Discounts and Bonuses for Token Holders](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9752082-tiered-repayment-fee-discounts-and-bonuses-for-token-holders). **Managing Instant Loans:** You can track your active Instant Ordinals loans, including remaining duration and repayment amount, on your [Portfolio page](https://app.liquidium.wtf/portfolio). ## 2. Manual (Classic) Loans for Ordinals Manual (Classic) loans involve borrowing directly from offers created by other Liquidium.WTF users (lenders). This P2P method requires the lender to countersign the transaction after you accept their offer. **Prerequisites:** - **Compatible Wallet:** Ensure you have a compatible wallet connected. Supported wallets include Xverse, Magic Eden, UniSat, Leather, OKX, and Wizz Wallet. Ledger hardware wallets are not currently supported for Ordinal-loan signing. - **Ordinals Collections:** You need selected Ordinals in your wallet. - **Sufficient BTC for Fees:** You need enough *confirmed* BTC in your wallet to cover Bitcoin network fees. **Finding & Accepting Manual Offers:** There are two ways to accept manual offers: **Method 1: Using the "Borrow" Button (Accept Best Offer / Bundle)** This method automatically selects the best available offer(s) for the Ordinals you choose. ![](/images/docs/intercom/11579500-03.avif) 1. **Find Ordinal & Click Borrow:** On the main borrowing page (ensure you are on the "Manual" toggle), find the Ordinals project you own and click the "Borrow" button. 2. **Select Ordinals:** Choose the specific Ordinals you want to use as collateral from your wallet. The best available loan terms will be displayed. 3. **Choose Fee Rate:** Select your desired Bitcoin network fee rate (Low, Medium, High, or Custom). Click "Continue". 4. **Confirm in Wallet:** Your wallet will show the transactions that must be signed. - **Offer Bundle:** For an offer bundle, sign the number of transactions displayed in the modal. The first lender to countersign gets the loan. - **Single Best Offer:** A single-offer request normally requires one transaction signature. 5. **Await Lender Approval:** After you sign, the lender(s) are notified. They must manually countersign the transaction to start the loan. The lender has up to 12 hours to countersign. You can cancel the request from the Pending section of your Portfolio before activation. See [Lender Ratings](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9588081-lender-ratings) for lender acceptance history. 6. **Loan Starts:** Once the lender countersigns and the transaction confirms on the blockchain, the loan starts, and BTC is sent to your wallet. Track it in your [Portfolio page](https://app.liquidium.wtf/portfolio). **Method 2: Using the "Offers" Button (Select a Specific Offer)** This method allows you to browse all available offers for an Ordinal and choose a specific one. ![](/images/docs/intercom/11579500-04.avif) 1. **Find Ordinals & Click Offers:** On the main borrowing page ("Manual" toggle), find the Ordinals project and click the "Offers" button. 2. **Browse Offer Book:** Review the list of available loan offers (loan amount, interest, duration, LTV, [lender rating](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9588081-lender-ratings)). Click "Borrow" next to the specific offer you want to accept. 3. **Select Ordinals:** Choose the Ordinals from your wallet to use as collateral. 4. **Choose Fee Rate:** Select your desired network fee rate and click "Continue". 5. **Confirm in Wallet:** Confirm the transaction details in your wallet. 6. **Await Lender Approval:** The specific lender you chose is notified and must countersign. 7. **Loan Starts:** Once the lender countersigns and the transaction confirms, the loan starts. Track it in your [Portfolio page](https://app.liquidium.wtf/portfolio). **Canceling a Manual Loan Request:** You can cancel your request *before* the lender countersigns. Go to your Portfolio page, find the loan in the "Pending" section, and click the cancel button. **Fees for Manual Ordinals Borrowing:** - **Platform Fee:** Included in the interest rate you agree to pay. Liquidium.WTF takes a portion of the total interest. [Discounts may apply based on your Liquidium token holdings](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9752082-tiered-repayment-fee-discounts-and-bonuses-for-token-holders). - **Network Fees:** The borrower pays the [Bitcoin network fees](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9761259-transaction-time-and-fees) for both starting the loan and repaying the loan. ## 3. Repaying Ordinals Loans (Instant & Manual) To repay your loan and recover your collateral, follow [Repay an Ordinal Loan](/docs/bitcoin/repay-a-loan). If the repayment is delayed, see [Speed Up a Transaction With CPFP](/docs/bitcoin/speed-up-a-transaction). ## 4. Defaults & Other Considerations - **Default:** If you don't repay the loan before expiry, the loan defaults. You keep the borrowed BTC, and after the protocol delay the lender becomes eligible to claim your Ordinals collateral. - **Transaction Confirmation:** Monitor transaction status on a block explorer like mempool.space. If fees are too low during congestion, [transactions can be delayed](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9761259-transaction-time-and-fees). - **Rebuilds (Manual Loans):** If the lender's or borrower's UTXOs change before a manual loan starts, the lender might need to "rebuild" the transaction, requiring you to sign again. - **Minimum Loan Size:** The minimum loan amount for Ordinal loans is currently 0.0004 BTC. The amount shown in the app is authoritative if this limit changes. - **Airdrops:** If Ordinals held as collateral receive an [airdrop during the loan, the airdrop goes into the escrow](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9189519-airdrops-ordinals-as-collateral). It will be automatically returned to the borrower upon successful repayment or can be claimed by the lender after a default. ## 5. Comparison: Instant vs. Manual Ordinal Loans | **Feature** | **Instant Ordinal Loans** | **Manual (Classic) Ordinal Loans** | | ------------------- | --------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------- | | **Speed** | Faster (Funds after ~10 min confirm) | Slower (Requires lender countersign) | | **Process** | Matching with vaults | P2P matching with lender offers | | **Lender Action** | None required to start loan | Lender must countersign transaction | | **Offer Selection** | Accepts best available terms from vault | Can accept best OR specific lender offer | | **Use Case** | Need liquidity quickly, simplicity | Potentially better terms, specific offers | # Lend BTC Against Ordinals URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/lend-against-ordinals Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/11588364-lending-btc-against-ordinals-instant-manual Fund Instant-loan vaults or publish Manual offers against Ordinal collections. Liquidium.WTF offers two primary methods for lending against Ordinals: 1. **Instant Loans:** Lend BTC with the help of P2P liquidity vaults, allowing borrowers to instantly take loans against your deposited funds. This method offers efficient capital utilization through automated management. 2. **Manual Loans:** The traditional peer-to-peer (P2P) method where you create specific loan offers for Ordinals collections. Borrowers accept your offer, and you must manually countersign to start the loan. Choose the method that aligns with your preferences for automation, capital efficiency, and control. **Note:** *Lenders do not pay Bitcoin network fees for creating offers or when borrowers initiate loans. Lenders pay network fees when depositing into or withdrawing from a vault, and when claiming defaulted collateral.* # **1. Instant Loans for** Ordinals **(Lending)** Instant Loans allow lenders to deposit BTC into a personal vault, create lending offers, and have those offers automatically matched with borrowers seeking instant liquidity against their Ordinals. ## **Prerequisites:** - **Compatible Wallet:** Supported wallets include Xverse, Magic Eden, UniSat, Leather, OKX, and Wizz Wallet. Ledger hardware wallets are not currently supported for Ordinal-loan signing. - **Sufficient BTC:** You need enough *confirmed* BTC in your wallet to deposit into the vault for lending, plus enough to cover the one-time network fee for the vault deposit transaction. ## **Steps to Lend Instantly:** 1. **Connect Wallet:** Connect your preferred wallet to Liquidium.WTF. Sign any required messages. 2. **Navigate & Select Instant:** Go to the main lending page and select the "Ordinals" tab. Toggle the switch in the upper-right corner from "Manual" to "Instant" if it’s not on "Instant" already. 3. **Create Vault (One-Time Only):** ![](/images/docs/intercom/11588364-01.avif) - The first time you use Instant Loans, you'll need to create a personal vault. Find an Ordinals collection you might lend against and click "Lend" to initiate the vault creation process. - Follow the prompts and sign the transaction in your wallet. - The vault is designed to support independent emergency recovery using the same original wallet account and your saved Vault Public Key. You can also read [Instant Loans: Technical Overview](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/10549833-instant-loans-technical-overview) - **Crucially, save the Vault Public Key (Pubkey) displayed during creation.** You'll need this for [emergency recovery](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/10748690-emergency-instant-loans-vault-recovery-method). 4. **Deposit BTC into Vault:** - Click your profile icon (top-right), then select "Manage" in the Vault section. - Click "Deposit". - Enter the amount of BTC you wish to deposit from your wallet into the vault for lending. Ensure you have enough BTC in your wallet for the deposit amount plus the network transaction fee. - Sign the transaction in your wallet and wait for confirmation. - Your profile will now show both your Wallet Balance and Vault Balance. 5. **Create Loan Offer:** - Navigate back to the Lend page for Ordinals (Instant mode). - Find the Ordinals project you want to lend against and click "Lend". - **Set Loan Parameters:** Enter the BTC amount you want to make available. Loan duration and APY come from the collection’s current terms. - **Define Risk Ratios (LTV):** - **Initial Loan-to-Value (LTV):** The ratio of the loan amount relative to the collateral's value *at the time the loan starts*. A lower LTV is generally safer for the lender but will also be accepted less likely by borrowers. - **Maximum Loan-to-Value (Max LTV):** A safety threshold. If the Ordinals collateral's price drops *after* you create the offer, causing the potential LTV of a loan to exceed this Max LTV, your offer will be automatically paused to protect you from unfavorable market conditions. The offer becomes available again only after its LTV, vault balance, and current term conditions have cleared every pause condition. *(Read the example below for more details!)* - Review all parameters carefully. 6. **Authorize Offer:** Sign the message in your wallet to make your offer live on the platform. Your offer details will appear in your Portfolio page under "Offers". While the offer is active it is also listed in the collection's offer book. A **paused** offer is hidden from the offer book and only appears in Portfolio, marked Paused; it returns to the offer book automatically once every pause condition clears. 7. **Loan Fulfillment (Automatic):** - Borrowers can now see and accept the offer with highest LTV instantly. - Your offer fills **one loan** by a single borrower. - No further action is required from you when a borrower accepts; the loan starts automatically. 8. **Repayment/Default:** - **Repayment:** If the borrower repays on time, the principal BTC plus earned interest (minus [platform fees](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9752082-tiered-repayment-fee-discounts-and-bonuses-for-token-holders)) is automatically returned to your vault. - **Default:** If the borrower fails to repay, the loan defaults. After the protocol delay, you can claim the Ordinals collateral from your Portfolio by selecting a network fee and signing the claim transaction. *Note: There are no LTV-based liquidations before the loan duration ends.* ## Walk-through example: how Initial LTV and Max LTV work in practice **Scenario setup** | Parameter | Value | Why it matters | | --------------------------- | ----------- | ---------------------------------- | | Loan amount you’re offering | **0.7 BTC** | What the borrower receives | | Current Ordinals price | **1 BTC** | Sets the collateral’s value | | **Initial LTV** you pick | **70 %** | 0.7 BTC ÷ (100 × 0.01 BTC = 1 BTC) | | **Max LTV** (safety cap) | **80 %** | Offer auto-pauses above this level | At the moment you post the offer, the Ordinals collection is worth 1 BTC, so lending 0.7 BTC equals a **70 % LTV**, inside your **80 %** cap. --- ## Price change #1: small dip, offer keeps running Ordinals *price drops to **0.9 BTC*** - New LTV: 0.7 BTC ÷ 0.9 BTC = **77.8 %** Because **77.8 % < 80 %**, your offer **stays live** and can still be accepted by a borrower. --- ## Price change #2: bigger dip, offer pauses for safety Ordinals *price drops further to **0.8 BTC*** - New LTV: 0.7 BTC ÷ 0.8 BTC = **87.5 %** Now **87.5 % > 80 %**, so Liquidium.WTF**automatically pauses** the offer. No one can accept it until one of two things happens: 1. The Ordinals price rises enough to push LTV back below 80 %, **or** 2. You manually edit the offer (e.g., lower the loan amount or raise Max LTV). --- ## Why this matters - **Initial LTV** sets your starting risk level. Lower values give you a larger buffer before the cap is breached. - **Max LTV** is the seat-belt. If market moves threaten your buffer, the platform steps in, preventing new loans that would expose you to more downside than you agreed to take. This step-by-step view shows exactly how price swings translate into LTV changes and when the auto-pause protects you. ## **Fees for Instant** Ordinals **Lending:** - **Platform Fee:** Liquidium.WTF collects 30% of the interest earned by the lender. This fee is only applied if the calculated fee amount is 2000 sats or more. If the loan defaults, no platform fee is taken from the lender. [Discounts may apply based on your token holdings](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9752082-tiered-repayment-fee-discounts-and-bonuses-for-token-holders). - **Network Fees:** Lenders do **not** pay Bitcoin network fees for creating offers or when loans are initiated by borrowers. Lenders only pay network fees when initially depositing BTC into the vault or when withdrawing BTC from the vault. ## **Withdrawing BTC from Vault:** - Go to Profile > Manage (Vault section) > Withdraw. - Enter the amount of BTC you wish to withdraw from your available vault balance back to your connected wallet. - Sign the transaction. You will pay the network fee for this withdrawal. - We developed an [emergency recovery tool](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/10748690-emergency-instant-loans-vault-recovery-method), in case Liquidium is not working, upon time of withdrawal, to guarantee continous availability of funds. # **2. Manual (Classic) Loans for** Ordinals **(Lending)** Manual (Classic) loans allow you to create specific P2P loan offers for Ordinals collections. Borrowers can accept your offer, but you must then manually countersign the transaction to activate the loan. ![](/images/docs/intercom/11588364-02.avif) ## **Prerequisites:** - **Compatible Wallet:** Supported wallets include Xverse, Magic Eden, UniSat, Leather, OKX, and Wizz Wallet. Ledger hardware wallets are not currently supported for Ordinal-loan signing. - **Sufficient BTC:** You need enough *confirmed* BTC in your wallet to cover the loan amount you wish to offer. ## **Creating Manual Offers:** 1. **Choose** Ordinals**:** Navigate to the Lend page ("Manual" toggle selected) and find the Ordinals project you want to lend against. Click "Lend". 2. **Set Offer Terms:** - Enter the **BTC Amount** you are willing to lend. - Set the **Interest Rate / APY** you want to earn. - Choose the **Loan Duration**. - Select the **Loan-to-Value (LTV)** ratio using the toggle. This determines how much collateral value the borrower must provide relative to your loan amount. 3. **Confirm Offer:** Review your terms and click "Submit Offer". Sign the message in your wallet. 4. **Offer Live:** Your offer is now listed in the public offer book for that Ordinals collection and visible in your Portfolio page under "Offers". ## **Handling Accepted Offers:** 1. **Notification:** You'll receive a notification (in-app, and optionally via Email/Telegram if configured in settings) when a borrower accepts your offer. 2. **Go to Portfolio:** Navigate to your Portfolio page and find the accepted offer under the "Pending" section. 3. **Review & Countersign:** Click on the pending loan. You can review the details and optionally check the [borrower's profile](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9263817-user-stats). If you wish to proceed, click "Sign to Start Loan" (or similar) and sign the transaction in your wallet. - **Timeliness:** You typically have a limited time (e.g., 12 hours, as per [Loan Flow](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9493681-loan-flow-manual-loans) to countersign before the borrower might cancel. Be prompt if you want the loan to proceed. Not countersigning a loan will result in a worse [lender rating](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9588081-lender-ratings). - **Rebuilds:** If UTXOs have changed since the offer was created, you might be prompted to "Rebuild" the transaction first, which then requires the borrower to sign again before you can finally countersign. 4. **Loan Starts:** Once you countersign and the transaction confirms on the blockchain, the loan begins. Your BTC is sent to the borrower, and their Ordinal collateral is locked in escrow. ## **Managing and Canceling Offers (Instant and Manual):** - **Cancel:** You can cancel an offer *before* it is used. Go to your Portfolio page, find the offer under "Offers", and click the delete (trash) button, or select several offers and delete them together. Offers can't be cancelled from a collection's offer book. - **Edit:** Edit an offer from Portfolio, or with the pencil icon next to your own offer in the collection's offer book while it is listed there. - **Paused Instant offers** don't appear in the offer book at all; find and manage them in Portfolio. **Repayment/Default (Manual Loans):** - **Repayment:** If the borrower repays on time, the principal BTC plus earned interest (minus platform fees) is automatically returned to your wallet. - **Default:** If the borrower fails to repay by the expiry date, the loan defaults. You will need to manually claim the Ordinal collateral. ## **Claiming Collateral on Default (Manual):** 1. **Go to Portfolio:** Navigate to your Portfolio page and find the defaulted loan under the "Lending" tab. 2. **Click Unlock/Claim:** Click the "Unlock" or "Claim Collateral" button. 3. **Select Fee Rate:** Choose the network fee rate for the claim transaction (you pay this fee). 4. **Confirm & Sign:** Confirm the action and sign the transaction in your wallet. 5. **Receive Collateral:** Once the claim transaction confirms, the Ordinal collateral will be sent to your wallet. ## **Recommendation for Manual Lending:** Remember that if a borrower defaults, you receive the Ordinal collateral instead of your BTC back. Only create offers on Ordinals projects you are comfortable owning at the value implied by your loan amount (Loan Amount / LTV). Assess the risk based on the Ordinal's volatility and your LTV setting. ## **Fees for Manual** Ordinals **Lending:** - **Platform Fee:** Liquidium.WTF collects 30% of the interest earned upon successful repayment when the calculated fee before discounts is 2,000 sats or more. Below 2,000 sats, the platform fee is zero. Eligible LIQ and sLIQ holdings may reduce this fee. [Learn about platform fee discounts](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9752082-tiered-repayment-fee-discounts-and-bonuses-for-token-holders). - **Network Fees:** Lenders do **not** pay network fees for creating offers or starting loans. Lenders **do** pay network fees when claiming collateral from a defaulted loan. # **3. Comparison: Instant vs. Manual** Ordinal **Lending** | **Feature** | **Instant Ordinal Lending** | **Manual Ordinal Lending** | | ---------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Speed** | Offer live instantly, loans start automatically | Requires manual countersigning by lender | | **Process** | Automated P2P via Vaults & Matching | Manual Offer Creation & P2P Acceptance/Signing | | **Lender Effort** | Low (Set up vault/offer, then passive) | Higher (Monitor acceptances, must countersign) | | **Capital Efficiency** | High | Lower | | **Risk Management** | Automated pausing via Max LTV setting | Relies on lender's initial LTV choice & monitoring | | **Platform Fee** | 30% of interest when the calculated fee is 2,000 sats or more; zero below that threshold; waived on default; discounts may apply | 30% of interest when the calculated fee is 2,000 sats or more; zero below that threshold; waived on default; discounts may apply | # 4. Frequently asked questions - ## Can I change the max LTV for the vault in instant loans? Yes. Eligible unused offers can be edited before they are accepted. You can also cancel an unused offer and create a new one. - ## What if I lost the public key of the vault? You can always access your public key in **Settings**, and it’s important to keep it securely stored in case of an emergency. To help you prepare for such situations, we’ve developed a [dedicated emergency recovery tool](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/10748690-emergency-instant-loans-vault-recovery-method). ![](/images/docs/intercom/11588364-03.avif) # Repay an Ordinal Loan URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/repay-a-loan Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9240785-how-to-repay-ordinal-loans Repay before expiry to recover collateral and avoid default. You need enough spendable BTC to cover the principal, interest, and network fee. Eligible unconfirmed BTC produced and tracked through Liquidium may be usable. Unrelated external pending deposits may still need to confirm. ## How do I repay my loan? 1. Go to your [Portfolio page](https://app.liquidium.wtf/portfolio). 2. Locate your active loan under **Borrowing**, click **Repay**, and choose **Slow**, **Medium**, **Fast**, or **Custom** using the fee cog. 3. Click *"Repay"*. 4. Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet. 5. If you want to speed up the repaying transaction, have a look here: [How to speed up a transaction (CPFP).](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9235526-how-to-speed-up-a-transaction-cpfp-in-app) Make sure that you are repaying from the same wallet as you started the loan with. ## Repayment timing and collateral return Initiate repayment before the loan timer expires. If confirmation arrives slightly after expiry, the repayment still counts as timely as long as it was initiated before the deadline. For current in-house loans, repayment and return of the collateral happen atomically in the same transaction. Legacy or other loan backends may show a separate **Unlock** action; follow the action displayed in your Portfolio. ## What if I don't have enough spendable BTC while repaying? Check the spendable balance and warning shown in the repayment modal. If a pending Liquidium transaction is eligible for acceleration, open **Portfolio → Pending** and use the available **CPFP** action. Otherwise, wait for the funds to confirm or add enough BTC to cover the repayment and network fee. Then return to **Portfolio → Borrowing → Repay**. See [How To Speed Up a Transaction (CPFP) In App](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9235526-how-to-speed-up-a-transaction-cpfp-in-app). # Custom Loans URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/custom-loans Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/10145543-custom-loans Create or respond to a loan request with borrower-selected terms. **Disclaimer**: Custom loans are not bound to collection floor prices. Borrowers can request any terms and amounts. Do your research before accepting loan requests. Custom Loans bring a fresh evolution to our previous OTC loans. In the past, only lenders could create offers for borrowers. This update transforms the process, introducing a “gallery-style” experience where both borrowers and lenders can initiate and craft loan offers. The result is a more dynamic, interactive, and user-friendly platform for everyone. Browse requests and offers in a gallery-style marketplace. ## **Borrow Page** The **Borrow Page** is where borrowers can request and manage their custom loan requests. Here’s what you need to know: ![](/images/docs/intercom/10145543-01.avif) ## **Borrowers:** 1. **Request a Custom Loan:** - Click on "New Request" (on the left) to select your Ordinal collateral and specify your desired loan **amount**, **term**, and **interest (the exact interest you'll pay for the total duration of the loan)**. - Submit this request to the platform, where lenders can view it in the loan marketplace. - Live requests will appear on the right side of the left side of the Borrow Page under "My Loan Requests." ![](/images/docs/intercom/10145543-02.avif) 2. **View Lender Offers:** - Lenders can directly make loan offers for assets you own. - These offers will appear on the right side of the Borrow page (underneath the title "Lender Offers"), allowing you to review, accept, or counter the terms. --- ## **Lend Page** The **Lend Page** serves as a hub for lenders to explore and act on custom loan opportunities. Here’s what’s in store for lenders: ![](/images/docs/intercom/10145543-03.avif) ## **Lenders:** 1. **Browse the Loan Marketplace:** - View all active loan requests from borrowers, each specifying their desired terms (amount, term, and interest). Note: Loan amounts are not bound to their collection floor prices. Do your research before accepting loans. - Use advanced filtering and sorting options to find loans that align with your preferences. - These requests will appear on the right side of the Lend Page under the "Available Borrower Requests" title. 2. **Make Offers on Specific Ordinals:** - If you’re interested in a specific ordinal collateral owned by a borrower, you can make a direct loan offer. - These offers will appear on the left side of the Lend Page under "My Direct Offers." The Borrower will see them on the Borrow Page and can then review, accept, or counter your terms. --- ## **Negotiating Terms** Borrowers and lenders can negotiate by creating counteroffers until both parties agree on the loan terms. Click **Counter** on an existing request or offer to propose new terms. --- ## **What Stays the Same** 1. **Loan Repayments and Defaults** - If borrowers repay loans on time, lenders will receive the interest. - If borrowers fail to repay a loan on time, the loan will default and the lender will receive the collateral. 2. **Loan Finalization and Management:** - As always, once a borrower and lender agree on terms, they must **countersign in the Portfolio Page** to initiate the loan. - Loan activity is managed in the **Portfolio Page**, ensuring a seamless experience. 3. **Transaction Fees:** - Borrowers are responsible for covering the transaction fee required to start a loan which is **deducted directly from the loan amount** when the loan is initiated. --- **Custom Loans** let borrowers and lenders create offers and negotiate terms in a shared marketplace. # Speed Up a Transaction With CPFP URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/speed-up-a-transaction Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9235526-how-to-speed-up-a-transaction-cpfp-in-app Raise the effective fee of an eligible pending Liquidium.WTF transaction with Child Pays for Parent. CPFP uses a spendable unconfirmed output from a pending transaction to create a child transaction with a higher fee. The in-app CPFP action is shown when the transaction is eligible. ## What is a CPFP? Child-Pays-For-Parent (CPFP) accelerates a transaction by creating a new one with a high fee using unconfirmed funds from a stuck pending transaction. Miners confirm both transactions for higher fees, speeding up the stuck transaction. ## How to speed up a pending transaction 1. Open your Portfolio and select **Pending**. 2. Select the pending transaction you want to accelerate. 3. Choose the available **CPFP** action. 4. Select a network fee rate, confirm the action, and sign the transaction in your wallet. # Loan Mechanics & Risks URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/loan-mechanics Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9189612-how-does-liquidium-wtf-work-a-technical-deep-dive Review Bitcoin loan escrow, signatures, repayment deadlines, and default risk. Liquidium.WTF enables secure peer-to-peer lending using Bitcoin-based Discreet Log Contracts (DLC), multi-signature escrows, and Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBT). This document breaks down how our unique system ensures trust, security, and transparency for both borrowers and lenders on the Bitcoin blockchain. ## **1. The 2/3 Multisig Escrow System** At the core of Liquidium.WTF's security is a **2-of-3 multisignature (multisig)** escrow, which is executed entirely on the **Bitcoin blockchain**. This system ensures that collateral (such as Ordinals) remains secure during the loan term and that no single party can unilaterally move assets. Here’s how it works: - **Three Parties Involved**: 1. **Borrower**: Provides collateral (e.g., Ordinals) for the loan. 2. **Lender**: Provides Bitcoin to the borrower. 3. **Oracle** (via DLC): Attests to the outcome of the loan and acts as the third signer. - **Multisig Mechanics**: Two of the three involved parties must sign off to unlock the collateral from escrow. This guarantees that no single party can control the movement of assets. **Atomic Transactions**: The loan transaction is **atomic**. This means that before signing, all parties can verify the exact terms of the transaction. Borrowers and lenders can check which Ordinal is moving to escrow and confirm the exact amount of Bitcoin being transferred in the loan. In this context, "atomic" means that the transaction either completes in full or does not execute. Partial execution is not possible. ## **2. Timelock on Lender’s Signature** Another key layer of security is the **timelock**, which is also implemented fully on the **Bitcoin blockchain**. This ensures that the lender cannot access the collateral prematurely. - **How the Timelock Works**: The lender’s address is time-locked for the entire loan duration. Until the loan period expires, the lender cannot sign any transactions or access the collateral. - **Why It Matters**: This guarantees that the borrower’s collateral (whether Ordinals or other assets) is safe for the agreed loan period, giving the borrower peace of mind that the lender cannot act before the loan term ends. ## **3. Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs)** Liquidium.WTF leverages **Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs)** to determine the outcome of the loan. The DLC functions as a third-party oracle that attests to whether the borrower has repaid the loan or defaulted. - **If the Borrower Repays**: The DLC provides a signature that unlocks the collateral, returning it to the borrower. - **If the Borrower Defaults**: The DLC signs off with the lender, enabling the lender to claim the collateral. This mechanism ensures that loans are executed fairly, based on the conditions agreed upon at the start of the loan. The use of DLCs adds another layer of security and neutrality to the process. ## **4. Key Benefits and Security Model** The combination of multisig, timelocks, and DLCs offers a highly secure and transparent framework for peer-to-peer lending on Liquidium.WTF. The following are key benefits: - **On-Chain Security**: Both the 2/3 multisig and timelocks are fully implemented on the Bitcoin blockchain, ensuring transparency and security without relying on off-chain systems. - **No Single-Party Control**: No single party (borrower, lender, or oracle) can move the collateral without the consent of at least one other party. This protects the interests of both borrowers and lenders. - **Atomic Transactions**: Every transaction is atomic, meaning it is either fully executed or not at all. All parties can verify the transaction details before committing. - **Collateral Protection**: During the loan period, the borrower’s collateral is completely protected by the multisig system and the timelock, preventing any unauthorized access. - **Fair Loan Resolution with DLC**: The use of DLC ensures that the loan outcome is fairly determined, and the appropriate parties (borrower or lender) receive the collateral based on repayment status. ## **5. Trade-offs in Trust and Centralization** While Liquidium.WTF's model offers strong security guarantees, there are trade-offs in terms of trust and permission. Here’s how we address these: - **Multisig with a Central Oracle**: The Liquidium.WTF Oracle provides one of the three required signatures, which introduces a degree of centralization. The oracle cannot act alone. Two signatures are needed to unlock the escrow. - **Trust and Permission**: Although Liquidium.WTF's model requires a certain level of trust in the parties involved, this is balanced by the transparency of the blockchain and the use of cryptographic systems like multisig and DLC. ## **6. Paths Forward for Oracle Decentralization** To further enhance trust and decentralization, Liquidium.WTF is exploring several potential paths for decentralizing the oracle function. These approaches are designed to reduce reliance on a central entity while maintaining the security and efficiency of the system: - **Multiple Oracle Participants**: One path forward is introducing multiple independent entities to act as oracles. In this scenario, several parties would be responsible for attesting to loan outcomes, with a majority or consensus required to unlock the collateral. This distributes trust and reduces the impact of any single point of failure. - **Decentralized Oracle Networks**: Another approach involves using decentralized oracle networks, where multiple nodes operate in concert to verify loan outcomes. This would further decentralize the decision-making process and increase resilience across the system. - **Leveraging Smart Contract Platforms**: Liquidium.WTF is also considering the use of decentralized smart contract platforms, such as **ICP**, to host the oracle function. This would allow the oracle to be distributed across multiple nodes, further minimizing centralization and increasing scalability. - **Community-Run Oracles**: Finally, Liquidium.WTFis exploring the potential for community-operated oracles. In this model, trusted community members or third-party validators would run the oracle service, introducing an additional layer of decentralization and community governance. ## 7. **Security Audits** For the audit scope, dates, findings, and resolution status, see [Security & Audits](/docs/reference/security-and-audits). # Interest Calculations URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/interest-calculations Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9189672-interest-calculations Compare offers using APY, duration, principal, and total interest. ## Important Clarification on Lending and Borrowing Liquidium.WTF’s lending and borrowing model involves two key roles: lenders and borrowers. Here's how the process works: - **Lenders** provide Bitcoin as loans and earn interest (in Bitcoin) on these loans based on the APY. - **Borrowers** use assets like NFTs or tokens like $DOG as collateral to borrow Bitcoin. **Note:** DOG tokens (or other collateral tokens) are not lent out to earn interest. Instead, they are used solely as collateral to secure loans. Interest is earned by lenders who provide Bitcoin, not by those holding or depositing DOG tokens. This distinction is critical to understanding the platform’s mechanics. ## APY (Annual **Percentage Yield)** *what is shown to the lender* ((1 + Interest_Per_Duration / 100) ^ (365/Days_in_term) - 1) × 100 ## Interest (BTC) Paid *what the borrower pays in interest on a loan* Loan_Amount * (((APY/100) + 1)^(Days_in_term/365) - 1) ## **Interest Rate Per Duration** *what is shown to the borrower* 100 * (((APY/100) + 1)^(Days_In_Term/365) - 1) ## Liquidium.WTF **Platform Fee** Liquidium.WTF charges a 0.75% loan activation fee and a 30% repayment fee of the interest generated on loans which can be reduced by holding the tokens. Know more about Platform Fees and Discounts [here](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9752082-tiered-repayment-fee-discounts-and-bonuses-for-token-holders). # Manual Loan Flow URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/manual-loan-flow Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9493681-loan-flow-manual-loans Track a Manual loan from borrower request and lender countersignature through repayment or collateral claim. **1. Lender Creates the Offer (Off-Chain)** - The lender initiates the loan process by creating an offer off-chain. **2. Borrower Accepts the Offer** - The borrower accepts the offer and sets the network fee. - A transaction is created that incorporates all lender inputs for the loan and the borrower’s collateral. - The network fee is deducted from the loan amount. - The loan transaction and collateral locking occur in the same transaction. Either the loan starts, the funds are sent, and the collateral is locked, or none of these actions happen. **3. Lender Countersigns and Broadcasts the Transaction** - The lender has 12 hours to countersign the loan and broadcast the transaction. - The loan timer does not start until the transaction confirms on the blockchain. - It’s important for the lender to check the unlock modal as the network fee may have changed since the borrower accepted the offer. - Note: Lenders do not pay a network fee. **4. Repayments** - The loan repayment transaction must be initiated before the loan expires. - If a repayment confirms after the expiration, it is valid. **5. Liquidations** - Liquidations can only be broadcasted once the time lock expires. After this, lenders can liquidate the loan. **6. Airdrops** - Airdrops to the escrow belong to whoever ends up with the loan collateral. - **Airdrops During the Loan**: If an airdrop lands in an escrow during the loan, it will be unlocked in the same transaction as the repayment for borrowers. Lenders only unlock the collateral when claiming, so they will need to use the airdrop claim page to claim airdrops. - **Airdrops After Loan Completion**: Any airdrop that lands in an escrow that was already used for a completed loan (i.e., an old escrow that does not have collateral in it) can be unlocked at the airdrop-claim page. # Instant Loans: Technical Overview URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/instant-loans-technical Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/10549833-instant-loans-technical-overview See how lender vaults match Instant loans and handle on-chain recovery. **TLDR**: The vault is a 1/2 multi-sig between you and the smart contract, which means **you always have full control** over the funds in your vault, even if Liquidium.WTF or ICP were to go down. In case you'd want to access the vault outside of Liquidium.WTF, the vault's public key and your own private key is everything you need to have full control. --- ## What is the ICP Signing Layer and Why Is It Important? The ICP signing layer is a key component used exclusively to activate your loan. It has already handled billions of dollars in native volume, making it a trusted, battle-tested solution. Once your loan is activated via ICP, the system transitions to our standard multisig plus DLC (Discrete Log Contracts) setup that Liquidium.WTF currently employs. A deep dive on DLC's can be found [here](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9189612-how-does-liquidium-wtf-work-a-technical-deep-dive). The Instant Loans feature has undergone a security audit. Read the [Instant Loans audit report](https://drive.google.com/file/d/16NnsblOXkAcBjTVKOLvjGoYROcbTHAJN/view). --- ## How Are My Funds Secured? Your funds are held in your personal vault, a 1/2 multisig Bitcoin address. This means that both you and ICP hold one key each, allowing either party to authorize a transaction. In practical terms, you always have the ability to move your funds, regardless of what happens with ICP or the underlying smart contract. --- ## Is It Safe to Deposit Funds via ICP? Yes! When you activate a loan, you engage with our secure ICP activation process that functions similarly to Odin’s Bifrost bridge. Funds are protected using a special type of Multi-Party Computation (MPC) called threshold signing (TSS). With TSS, a decentralized network of nodes, each holding a unique private key share, collectively authorizes transactions, ensuring that assets can be received and sent securely at any time. This robust mechanism is trusted by protocols like Arch, Near, and ICP itself. Once a loan is activated, your collateral transitions to Liquidium.WTF’s standard multisig plus DLC escrow setup. --- ## What is My Public Key and How Do I Use It? Your public key is the Bitcoin public key associated with your 1/2 multisig vault. It acts as your vault’s “account number” and is essential for managing your funds: - **Security:** The public key is safe to share since it does not grant spending rights. - **Withdrawal:** You must save your public key because it is required to authorize any withdrawals from your vault. - **Transparency:** It allows anyone to verify transactions related to your vault without compromising its security. --- ## How Is On-Chain Verification Achieved? We utilize a native ICP Indexer provided by the [Omnity Network](https://www.omnity.network/) team, excellent engineers pushing what's possible for Bitcoin applications. This tool verifies collateral and loan values entirely on-chain, ensuring: - **Transparency:** All data is publicly verifiable. - **Accuracy:** Loan terms and collateral values are based on real-time, on-chain information. --- ## How Does Oracle Integration Work and Ensure Accurate Pricing? Liquidium.WTF partners with **Chainsight**, an ICP-native oracle builder. Chainsight aggregates outcalls to multiple endpoints, ensuring that the pricing data used for setting loan parameters is both secure and accurate. This specialized approach maintains the integrity of our pricing system and provides an extra layer of reliability. --- ## Do I Need to Interact Directly with ICP? No, you don't have to worry about handling ICP directly. Moreover, Liquidium.WTF abstracts all interactions with ICP. Your role is simply to sign messages to initiate your loan, while both ICP and Liquidium.WTF take care of the complex processes behind the scenes. --- ## How Secure and Decentralized Is the System? Our platform is built on a robust, decentralized architecture: - **Proven Security:** With billions in native ICP volume and your personal 1/2 multisig vault, your funds remain secure. - **Continuous Improvement:** We’re constantly exploring and implementing new ways to enhance security and decentralization, ensuring that Liquidium.WTF stays at the forefront of innovation. # Verify a PSBT Before Signing URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/verify-psbts Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9928031-how-to-verify-transactions-on-liquidium-wtf-a-psbt-guide Inspect a PSBT's inputs, outputs, amounts, fees, and collateral path before signing. In Liquidium.WTF’s peer-to-peer lending protocol, verifying the accuracy of a transaction before signing is crucial for both borrowers and lenders. This guide walks you through how to check the transaction structure in your wallet using **Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBT)** to ensure everything matches the agreed terms. In this example, we use screenshots from the Xverse mobile app. ## Transaction Review In the first screenshot (borrower view), you can see key transaction details: - **Inscription**: Shows a visual representation of the Ordinal being used as collateral. - **Amount you will receive**: Displays the amount of bitcoin the borrower will receive from the lender, after deducting any network fees. This initial screen provides a clear summary of the transaction, allowing the ***borrower*** to verify the Ordinal they’re locking and the loan amount they will receive before proceeding. The ***lender*** can verify that the correct Ordinal is being supplied as collateral. ![](/images/docs/intercom/9928031-01.avif) **Note:** Some wallets may have difficulty displaying the correct transfer amounts. However, they will always show the inputs and outputs of the transaction, which can also be used for verification, albeit in a more complex manner. ## Transaction Structure When creating or reviewing a loan transaction, you’ll see the following structure: - **Inputs**: - **Input 1: Borrower Ordinal.** This is the Ordinal being used as collateral by the borrower. The borrower should confirm that the Ordinal is from the correct address, while the lender can verify the transaction ID to ensure the exact location of the Ordinal. - **Input 2-X: Lender UTXOs.** These are the lender’s Bitcoin UTXOs, which provide the loan amount. Both the borrower and lender should verify that the correct amount of bitcoin is being used for the loan by summing up these inputs. - **Outputs**: - **Output 1: Escrow.** The borrower’s collateral is sent to an escrow address. Each escrow is a newly generated, empty address. - **Output 2: Loan.** The bitcoin loan amount is sent to the ***borrower***. - **Output 3: Lender's change.** Any leftover bitcoin is returned to the ***lender*** as change. ![](/images/docs/intercom/9928031-02.avif) ## Other Transaction Verifications Liquidium.WTF uses a consistent transaction structure across its protocol. The Ordinal being used as collateral will always be the first input in any transaction. For repayment transactions, users should verify that they are repaying the correct amount and ensure they are receiving the correct Ordinal in return. Both loan initiation and repayment transactions are atomic, meaning they are processed in an all-or-nothing manner, ensuring security and consistency. ## Conclusion Before signing the PSBT, both the ***borrower*** and ***lender*** should verify the inputs and outputs to ensure everything matches the agreed loan terms. This allows users to confidently confirm the exact loan amount and the collateral being used before signing. Once verified, you can proceed with signing the transaction in your wallet, knowing that the loan terms are accurately reflected. All transactions on Liquidium.WTF are **atomic**, ensuring that all conditions are met or the transaction does not proceed. # Wallets, Fees & Troubleshooting URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/wallets-fees-troubleshooting Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9189527-common-issues Fix wallet, UTXO, fee, confirmation, and signing problems during a Bitcoin loan. For support, open [Liquidium.WTF](https://app.liquidium.wtf/) and use **Support**. **When contacting support:** Include your BTC and Ordinals addresses, a screenshot of the bug or error, and a link to the transaction in the mempool when applicable. ## Common Bug Fixing Most issues can be resolved by following these steps: 1. Disconnect your wallet. 2. Hard refresh the page using `Shift + CMD + R` on Mac or `Shift + CTRL + R` on Windows. 3. Reconnect your wallet. If you still encounter the “Error Accepting Loan” issue, it is often caused by the lender having an insufficient BTC balance. Please try again later, as it may take up to 1 hour for “ghost offers” to disappear. --- ## Transaction is stuck in mempool & the transaction fee is too low. If you need to speed up a stuck transaction you can do a **CPFP**. Native **CPFPs** are available in-app. Have a look at **[How To Speed Up a Transaction (CPFP)](https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9235526-how-to-speed-up-a-transaction-cpfp-in-app)** to speed up your transactions natively in-app. ## Can’t access the app, it says I’m blocked. If you see something an error shown below, you likely reside in a sanctioned country. For legal reasons, Liquidium is currently not allowed to operate its platform in sanctioned countries. ![](/images/docs/intercom/9189527-01.avif) --- ## Can't see my loans and history anymore (Xverse) Xverse recently added support for native SegWit alongside nested SegWit. If you previously used nested SegWit for your loans and switched to native SegWit, you may no longer see your previous loans and points. This is because the switch creates a new Liquidium profile. To regain access to your previous profile: 1. Open your Xverse extension or app 2. Click on the settings gear in the bottom right 3. Select "Advanced" 4. Change the preferred network from native SegWit to nested SegWit This will allow you to view your previous loans and points again. --- ## **OKX Wallet** **Issue**: *"Wallet Cancelled Request" error message.* This means the wallet request was cancelled or rejected. Retry the action and approve the request in OKX. If Liquidium instead asks you to reauthenticate, disconnect and reconnect OKX, then try again. If the issue persists, contact Liquidium support and include a screenshot of the exact error. --- ## Error Messages ### Insufficient BTC for a loan **Error:** “The lender/borrower in this loan does not have enough BTC balance to fulfill the request or has unconfirmed transactions pending. Please try again later.” One of the participants does not have enough spendable BTC for the loan or network fees, or has pending inputs that cannot currently be spent. Check the spendable balance and warning shown in the transaction modal. If pending BTC is not usable, wait for confirmation or use the [in-app CPFP action](/docs/bitcoin/speed-up-a-transaction) when available, then try again. ### Insufficient BTC for repayment **Error:** “Repayer does not have sufficient BTC balance for fees or has unconfirmed transactions. Please try again later.” The borrower needs enough spendable BTC to cover the principal, interest, and network fee. Eligible unconfirmed BTC produced and tracked through Liquidium may be usable. Unrelated external pending deposits may still need to confirm. ### Insufficient BTC for unlocking collateral **Error:** “Unlocker does not have sufficient BTC balance for fees or has unconfirmed transactions. Please try again later.” The party unlocking the collateral needs enough spendable BTC to cover the unlock network fee. If pending BTC is not usable, wait for confirmation or use the [in-app CPFP action](/docs/bitcoin/speed-up-a-transaction) when available. ### Repaid loan cannot unlock collateral If the loan was repaid successfully but the Ordinal cannot be unlocked, contact Support through the Liquidium app. Include your BTC and Ordinals addresses and a link to the repayment transaction so the team can inspect the affected loan. # $LIQ Discounts & Bonuses URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/liq-discounts Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9752082-tiered-repayment-fee-discounts-and-bonuses-for-token-holders Hold eligible LIQ or sLIQ to lower borrower fees or increase lender payouts. ## Overview Liquidium.WTF has introduced a tiered discount system for repayment fees based on the number of Liquidium tokens, LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN (LIQ) and STAKED•LIQUIDIUM (sLIQ), held by both borrowers and lenders. This feature is designed to reduce the repayment fee, which is currently 30% of the interest generated on loans, by up to 25% depending on your token holdings. In addition, lenders can also earn bonuses that increase their share of the interest, making lending more lucrative for users who hold Liquidium tokens. ## How the Tiered Discount System Works The discount on the repayment fee is determined by the number of Liquidium tokens you hold at two key points: when you accept a loan and when you repay it. Similarly, lenders can earn a bonus based on their token holdings at both loan acceptance and repayment**.** The more tokens you hold, the greater the discount or bonus. *Note: LIQ and sLIQ are treated equally, (e.g. if you have 20 LIQ and 100 sLIQ your total token holdings would be 120).* ## Is There Always a Discount? No. If the loan is small enough, there is no fee. Liquidium.WTF only collects a repayment fee if the pre-discount calculated fee is 2000 sats or more. Discounts reduce the repayment fee, so if no repayment fee is collected (e.g. if a loan is not repaid), no discount can be applied. ## Borrower Discount Tiers Below are the discount tiers based on the number of Liquidium tokens held by borrowers: | Token Holdings (X Tokens) | Discount on Repayment Fee (%) | Effective Repayment Fee (%) | | ------------------------- | ----------------------------- | --------------------------- | | 0 - 599 | 0% | 30% | | 600 - 1,799 | 5% | 28.5% | | 1,800-3,599 | 10% | 27% | | 3,600-5,999 | 15% | 25.5% | | 6,000-11,999 | 20% | 24% | | ≥ 12,000 | 25% | 22.5% | ## Lender Bonus Tiers Below are the bonus tiers for lenders based on the number of Liquidium tokens held: | Token Holdings (X Tokens) | Bonus from Repayment Fee (%) | Effective Repayment Fee (%) | | ------------------------- | ---------------------------- | --------------------------- | | 0 - 599 | 0% | 30% | | 600 - 1,799 | 5% | 28.5% | | 1,800-3,599 | 10% | 27% | | 3,600-5,999 | 15% | 25.5% | | 6,000-11,999 | 20% | 24% | | ≥ 12,000 | 25% | 22.5% | Lenders with more tokens can keep a larger share of the interest paid by borrowers, increasing their yield. ## Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for a discount or bonus, you must meet the following criteria: - **Borrower Token Holdings at Loan Acceptance**: Your Liquidium token balance will be checked when you accept a loan. The discount tier will be determined based on the number of tokens you hold at this time. - **Borrower Token Holdings at Loan Repayment**: Your token balance will be checked again when you repay the loan. You must still hold the minimum number of tokens required for your discount tier to maintain the discount. - **Lender Token Holdings at Loan Acceptance**: Lenders' token balances will also be checked at loan acceptance to determine the bonus tier. - **Lender Token Holdings at Loan Repayment**: The lender must still hold the minimum number of tokens at the time the borrower repays the loan to maintain their bonus. Increasing token holdings after loan acceptance will not change the bonus tier for that specific loan. **Note**: *Increasing your token holdings after loan acceptance will not change the discount or bonus tier for that specific loan.* ## Automatic Discount and Bonus Application The discount or bonus is automatically applied during the loan process. The repayment verifies your token holdings in real-time through blockchain data to determine and apply the appropriate discount or bonus tier. ## Key Points to Remember 1. Discounts and bonuses are only applied if the required token holdings are maintained at both loan acceptance and repayment. 2. Discount and bonus tiers and their effectiveness will be reviewed quarterly and may be adjusted to align with repayment goals. 3. This discount system applies to both borrowers and lenders on Liquidium.WTF. ## Conclusion The Tiered Repayment Fee Discount and Bonus system is designed to reduce borrowing costs for borrowers and increase earnings for lenders who hold Liquidium tokens. By understanding how the discount and bonus tiers work and maintaining the necessary token balance, you can benefit from lower repayment fees as a borrower and higher interest as a lender. On Ethereum, you can lock a supported NFT and receive WETH or fund WETH principal in exchange for fixed interest. You settle principal and repayment in WETH. Keep ETH for gas, and wrap it into WETH when prompted. ## Core Terms - Network: Ethereum mainnet. - Settlement: principal and repayment use WETH. - Native ETH: pays Ethereum mainnet gas and can be wrapped into WETH. - APY: 50%, 100%, or 200%, depending on the collection. - Duration: 14 to 90 days, depending on the collection. - Maximum principal: 98% of the collection floor in the interface. - Minimum principal: none set by the protocol. ## Loan Risk Your active loan has no price-based liquidation. A falling collection floor does not close it. You owe the full fixed interest shown at the start, including after early repayment. If you miss the deadline, you risk losing your NFT when the lender claims it. ## App Areas - Borrow ETH: choose a supported NFT and accept an available WETH offer. - Lend ETH: choose a collection and publish a WETH offer. - Portfolio: track offers, active loans, repayments, and defaults for the connected wallet. - History: review settled Ethereum activity for the connected wallet. - Leaderboard: compare Ethereum lending and borrowing activity. Robinhood Chain has a separate leaderboard. ## Loan Contract Ethereum mainnet loan contract: 0xEC79B5DC18c5B859b785AFD0f6914B479B295F9b. ## Start Here # Borrow Against an NFT URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/ethereum/borrow-against-an-nft Borrow ETH against a supported Ethereum NFT and receive the full WETH principal. ## Before You Borrow - Connect the Ethereum wallet that holds the NFT. - Switch your wallet to Ethereum mainnet and keep native ETH available for gas. - Principal and repayment settle in WETH. ## Compare Offers Open Offers next to a collection to compare available principal, LTV, and term. Use the term filters to narrow the offer book. On Borrow, Interest shows the fixed percentage for the selected loan term. On Lend, Max APY shows the annual rate. Check the repayment amount in Details before signing. ## Start a Loan 1. Open Borrow, select Ethereum, and connect the wallet that holds your NFT. 2. Choose a supported collection and a term with an available offer. 3. Select your NFT under Collateral. Check the WETH principal, fixed interest, duration, LTV, due date, and Ethereum gas estimate. 4. Open Details and confirm that You receive equals the full WETH principal. You pay no borrower activation fee or fixed minimum fee. Native ETH gas is separate. 5. Approve the NFT contract if prompted, then confirm the borrow transaction in your wallet. 6. Wait for the transaction to confirm, then open Portfolio to check the loan and repayment deadline. ## Repayment and Default Repay the WETH principal plus the full fixed interest before the due time. Early repayment does not reduce the interest amount. Your loan has no price-based liquidation. If you miss the repayment deadline, you risk losing your NFT when the lender claims it. # Lend Against NFTs URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/ethereum/lend-against-nfts Lend ETH to Ethereum NFT holders by publishing a WETH offer against a supported collection. ## Review a Collection Before you create an offer, compare the collection's APY, available durations, floor, WETH offers, and maximum LTV in the live app. Check again before signing because collection settings can change. ## Create an Offer 1. Open Lend, select Ethereum, connect your wallet, and keep native ETH available for gas. 2. Select Lend next to your chosen collection. 3. Choose a duration under Term and enter your WETH principal under Amount. 4. Check LTV at the current floor and your Max % setting. Open Details next to Earn to review interest, the 15% interest fee, total return, and gas. Set offer expiry before signing. 5. If your WETH balance is short, wrap ETH when prompted. Complete any WETH approval, then sign and publish the offer. 6. Keep enough WETH in your wallet while the offer remains open. You fund the WETH principal when someone starts a loan from your offer. 7. Open Portfolio to review or cancel the offer and track any funded loan. ## Set Offer Expiry Use the clock control next to Make offer to set how long borrowers can accept your offer. Enter a value, choose Minutes or Days, then select Save to update the draft. Offer expiry and loan duration are separate. Expiry limits how long an unused offer stays available; the loan term starts when a borrower accepts it. ## Lender Return After repayment, you receive the WETH principal plus 85% of the interest. The protocol receives the other 15%. Read Earn as your interest after the protocol's share. Total return includes your principal. Network gas is separate. After default, you can claim the NFT instead of receiving principal and interest. Ethereum loans have no price-based liquidation. # Portfolio, History & Leaderboard URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/ethereum/shared-app-flows Use the shared Liquidium.WTF interface to manage your Ethereum offers and loans. ## Select Ethereum First 1. Select Ethereum in the network switcher. 2. Connect the wallet you used for the offer or loan and switch it to Ethereum mainnet. 3. Keep native ETH available for gas and check the WETH principal and repayment amount for each position. ## Manage Offers and Loans Open Portfolio and use Offers, Lending, or Borrowing to find your positions. Use List or Group By Collection to change the layout, then search or filter the results. Review published offers, cancel an unused offer, or inspect a funded loan. Check the collection, WETH principal, APY, fixed interest, term, LTV, floor, expiry, and due time against the values you signed. ## Repay or Claim 1. Open the active Ethereum loan in Portfolio and check its WETH principal, full fixed interest, total WETH repayment, due time, and gas estimate. 2. For repayment, keep enough WETH for the total repayment and enough native ETH for gas. Wrap ETH or approve WETH if prompted, then confirm Repay in your borrower wallet. 3. After confirmation, check your borrower wallet for the returned NFT. 4. If you lent and the loan expires unpaid, connect your lender wallet, select Claim, review the Ethereum gas estimate, and confirm the claim transaction. 5. Check your lender wallet for the claimed NFT, then review the settled loan in History. ## History Select Ethereum, open Portfolio, then choose History to filter your borrowing and lending records, inspect settled loan details, or export a CSV. You only see records for the connected wallet and selected network. ## Leaderboard Select Ethereum and open Leaderboard to compare Ethereum lending and borrowing activity. Connect your wallet to see your Ethereum rank and volume. Robinhood Chain has a separate leaderboard; activity on one network does not count toward your rank on the other. Compare all-time loan principal volume, valued at the current ETH price from CoinGecko. The Ethereum leaderboard includes active, repaid, and defaulted loans. Your volume does not represent earned interest. # Ethereum Fees URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/ethereum/fees Calculate fixed interest, the protocol share, lender return, and Ethereum gas costs. ## Borrower Costs You pay no borrower activation fee or fixed minimum fee. You receive the full WETH principal and repay the principal plus the agreed interest. Keep ETH for network gas. - Borrower proceeds = full principal. - Total repayment = principal + fixed interest. - Native ETH gas is separate from the WETH principal and interest. ## APY and Fixed Interest You can borrow or lend at 50%, 100%, or 200% APY, depending on the collection. You agree to a fixed interest amount for the chosen duration when the loan starts. APY is an annual rate before the protocol's share of interest. For a shorter loan, use the formula below to calculate the interest for its term. Enter APY as a decimal, such as 0.50 for 50%. - Fixed interest = principal × [(1 + APY)^(term days ÷ 365) − 1]. - You owe the full fixed interest even if you repay early. ## Protocol Share of Interest If you lend, you receive your principal plus 85% of the interest after repayment. Liquidium receives the remaining 15% of interest, not 15% of your principal. - Protocol share = generated interest × 0.15. - Lender interest = generated interest × 0.85. - After default, you can claim the NFT instead of principal and interest. Liquidium charges no repaid-interest fee on a defaulted loan. ## Read the App Breakdown Open Details next to Earn to review your interest and fees. - You lend: the WETH principal. - Interest: the full fixed interest before the protocol's share. - Fee (15% of interest): Liquidium's share, deducted from the interest. - Earn: the interest you keep after that fee. - Total return: your principal plus the interest you keep. - Estimated network fee: the gas you pay in ETH. ## Example: 1 WETH for 30 Days at 50% APY You borrow 1 WETH for 30 days at 50% APY. You receive 1 WETH and owe about 0.033887 WETH in fixed interest, so you repay about 1.033887 WETH. After repayment, you receive about 0.028804 WETH in interest after Liquidium's 0.005083 WETH share. Your total return is about 1.028804 WETH, including principal. ## Ethereum Gas Keep ETH in the connected wallet for Ethereum mainnet gas. NFT approvals, token approvals, wrapping, unwrapping, loan activation, repayment, offer cancellation, and collateral claims can require on-chain transactions. - Your wallet shows the network and gas estimate before confirmation. - Gas changes with Ethereum network demand and does not count toward principal or interest. # Supported Collections, Terms & Limits URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/ethereum/supported-collections-terms-limits Check Ethereum collection availability, duration, APY, WETH settlement, and principal limits. ## Check the Live App Liquidium.WTF can add collections or change their settings. Check the live app for each collection's WETH principal, floor, durations, APY, offers, and limits. These docs use selected examples instead of duplicating the maintained collection list. ## Selected Examples CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Pudgy Penguins, Doodles, and Azuki show the range of Ethereum collections available through Liquidium.WTF. They are examples, not a complete roster. ## Duration Options - Ethereum collection terms can include 14, 30, 45, 60, or 90 days. - CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Pudgy Penguins offer 30, 60, or 90 days. - Other supported Ethereum collections offer 14, 30, or 45 days. - Each collection exposes its own subset of those durations. Check the live offer before signing. ## Rates and Interest - APY: 50%, 100%, or 200%, depending on the collection. - Examples: CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Pudgy Penguins use 50% APY. Doodles and Azuki use 100% APY. - Interest: fixed for the full term when the loan starts. - Early repayment: allowed, with the full fixed interest due. ## Principal Limits The interface caps principal at 98% of the collection floor. The protocol sets no minimum principal. - Maximum principal shown by the interface = collection floor × 0.98. - Floor changes do not liquidate an active loan. ## Settlement Currency You settle principal and repayment in WETH. Keep ETH for Ethereum mainnet gas and wrap it into WETH when prompted. # Robinhood Chain Overview URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/overview Status: Open beta / under construction Use NFTs as collateral for peer-to-peer loans on Robinhood Chain. ## How Robinhood Chain Loans Work The Robinhood Chain product is in Open Beta. Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 built on the Arbitrum stack. Liquidium.WTF uses Ethereum-based smart contracts for loans on this network. You can lock a supported NFT and receive the collection's supported loan currency, or fund the principal in exchange for interest. ## Launch Terms - Term: 7 or 14 days. - APY: 150% or 200%, based on the collection tier. - Maximum principal: 98% of the live collection floor. - Minimum principal: none. ## Loan Risk Robinhood Chain loans have no price-based liquidation. The collection floor can move above or below the principal without closing the loan. Repay before the displayed deadline and allow time for on-chain confirmation. After an unpaid loan expires, the lender can claim the NFT from Portfolio. ## App Areas - Borrow: choose a supported collection and NFT on Robinhood Chain, then review the available loan terms. - Lend: review Robinhood Chain collections and create an offer on the selected network. - Portfolio: track offers and loans for the connected wallet on the selected network. - History: review settled loans for the connected wallet on the selected network. - Leaderboard: compare Robinhood Chain lending and borrowing activity. Ethereum has a separate leaderboard. ## Switch Networks and Connect Select Robinhood Chain in the network switcher, then connect your ETH wallet. ## Read Next # Borrow Against an NFT URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/borrow-against-an-nft Status: Open beta / under construction Use a supported NFT as collateral and review the loan before signing. ## Before You Borrow - Connect a wallet that supports Robinhood Chain and the NFT you want to use. - Keep ETH in your wallet for transaction gas. - Check the loan currency shown for the collection before you continue. ## Start a Loan Select Orders beneath a collection name to compare offers in its offer book. Filter by term to see the available durations. The best offer appears first and is selected by default when you borrow; review the terms before confirming the loan. 1. Select Robinhood Chain in the network switcher. The switcher keeps the current Borrow, Lend, or Portfolio page open when you change networks. 2. Use the Connect a wallet modal to sign in with the ETH wallet that holds the NFT. 3. Open Borrow and choose a supported collection. 4. Select the NFT you want to use as collateral. 5. Review Floor, LTV, Term, and Interest. The repayment summary shows the repayment amount, term, and Due by date and time. 6. Open Details to check Loan amount, Activation fee, You receive, Interest, Total repayment, and Network fee. 7. Follow the wallet actions shown. If Approve collateral appears, select Approve NFT and approve the contract to move your NFT when the loan starts. 8. Complete Confirm borrow and confirm the transaction in your wallet. You receive the principal minus the activation fee: 0.75% of principal, subject to a minimum of 1 USDG or 0.0005 ETH depending on the collection's loan currency. Review the fee and net payout in Details before confirming. 9. Wait for Loan started, then select Go to portfolio to manage the loan. 10. For a WETH loan, you can keep the proceeds as WETH or select Convert WETH to ETH. Enter an amount within your balance and select Unwrap to convert it one-to-one. This step is optional. ## Principal Limits The protocol caps principal at 98% of the collection's live floor price. It does not set a minimum principal. Floor prices can change between review and signing. Check the displayed floor, principal, and LTV again before you approve the final transaction. ## Repayment Check the Due by date and time in the loan review. Complete repayment before that deadline and allow time for on-chain confirmation. You can repay before the deadline, but you still owe the full term's interest. # Lend Against NFTs URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/lend-against-nfts Status: Open beta / under construction Create an offer against a supported NFT collection and review the return and collateral risk. ## Review a Collection The Lend page lists Collection, Max APY, Offer, Term, Max LTV, Floor, and the selected floor-price change period. Search by collection name or sort the table by any of those fields. Use the 24h, 7d, and 30d controls to change the floor-price comparison period. - Collection tiers use either 150% or 200% APY. - Launch terms run for 7 or 14 days. - The protocol caps principal at 98% of the live floor price and sets no minimum principal. ## View the Offer Book Select Orders beneath a collection name on Borrow or Lend to open its offer book. Choose All or a term to compare the available offers. The best offer appears first and is the default selection for borrowers. Active offers shows each offer's principal, LTV, expiry, and lender. Active loans appears alongside it. Select Create offer to prepare an offer for that collection. ## Create an Offer 1. Select Robinhood Chain in the network switcher, connect your ETH wallet, and open Lend. 2. Choose the collection you want to lend against. 3. Choose a 7- or 14-day term and enter the principal in the collection's loan currency. 4. Review the term, APY, principal, floor price, current LTV, and projected earnings. Set your maximum LTV and offer expiry. 5. Open Details to check You lend, Interest, Fee, Total return, and Network fee. 6. Select Make offer and complete the wallet actions shown. For WETH offers, Wrap ETH covers a shortfall in your WETH balance. 7. Approve the loan currency if the modal asks you to. For a WETH offer, this action is Approve WETH. 8. Complete Sign and publish. This wallet signature lists the offer without an on-chain transaction or gas fee. 9. Wait for Offer published, then select Go to portfolio to manage the offer. ## Offer Expiry Set how long borrowers can fill the offer. You can choose Minutes or Days and set a period from 1 minute to 365 days. After expiry, borrowers can no longer use the signed offer. ## Offer Funding Creating an offer does not reserve the principal. Keep enough of the collection's loan currency, WETH or USDG, in your wallet until a borrower takes it. For WETH offers, Liquidium.WTF checks your balance and existing WETH allowance. Follow the modal to wrap ETH into any missing WETH, approve spending if needed, and sign the offer. The number of wallet prompts can change with your balance and allowance. The loan contract pulls the principal from your wallet when a borrower starts the loan. ## Lender Return Review APY alongside the interest amount and Total return. The protocol receives 30% of the interest after a borrower repays. You keep the remaining 70%. Account for gas costs when comparing returns. The protocol does not charge an interest-based fee after default. The lender receives the right to claim the NFT collateral instead of principal and interest. ## Lender Risk - The collection floor can fall after you create an offer or fund a loan. - If a floor-price move pushes an unused offer above your chosen maximum LTV, the protocol pauses the offer. - Loans have no price-based liquidation, so a falling floor does not close the position. - A default can leave you with an NFT worth less than the principal you provided. # Manage Offers & Loans URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/manage-offers-and-loans Status: Open beta / under construction Track Robinhood Chain offers and active loans from Portfolio. ## Open Portfolio 1. Select Robinhood Chain in the network switcher. 2. Use Connect a wallet to sign in with the ETH wallet that created the offer or loan. 3. Open Portfolio to load the positions tied to that wallet. ## Review an Offer Portfolio labels the leading offer Best offer. The row shows the collection, offer amount, APY, term, LTV, and floor price. Select the eye button to open its details or the trash button to cancel it. - Offer details: Offer, APY, Term, LTV, Interest if taken, Fee, Your max LTV, Floor price, and Expires. - To change an unused offer's terms, cancel it and create a new one. - An unused offer pauses if a floor-price move pushes it above your chosen maximum LTV. ## Cancel an Offer 1. Select the trash button beside the offer in Portfolio. 2. Review Delete offer and its Network fee, then select Cancel offer. 3. Complete Sign cancellation in your wallet. Wait for confirmation before treating the offer as cancelled. 4. After confirmation, the modal shows Offer deleted and Portfolio removes the offer. ## Review an Active Loan After a borrower takes an offer, Portfolio moves it to Lending. The loan contract pulls the principal from the lender's balance in the loan currency. The lender does not sign another transaction. Open the loan to review Lent, APY, Term, LTV, You lent, Interest, Fee, Total return, and Due. - Borrower: check the total repayment, Due by deadline, and gas balance. - Lender: check the principal, expected interest, deadline, and collateral details. ## After Repayment After repayment, the principal and the lender's share of interest return to the lender wallet. ## Review a Defaulted Loan For the borrower, Portfolio shows Defaulted in the Expires column. The row also shows Collection, Borrowed, Interest, Term, LTV, and Floor. Select the eye button to open the loan details. For the lender, the Lending row shows Defaulted and adds a Claim button after expiry. ## Account and History # Repayment, Expiry & Default URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/repayment-expiry-default Status: Open beta / under construction Review repayment deadlines, default, and collateral claims. ## Repayment Timing Repay before the Due deadline shown in Portfolio, allowing time for confirmation. You owe the principal and the full term's interest, even if you repay early. ## Repay a Loan 1. Connect the borrower wallet and open Portfolio on Robinhood Chain. 2. Open the active loan and review Loan amount, Interest, Total repayment, Due, and the network fee. Repay in the loan currency shown. 3. Keep enough ETH for gas and enough of the loan currency for Total repayment. Your original payout is less than the principal because of the activation fee, and you also owe interest. 4. Select Repay. For a WETH loan, if your WETH balance is short, the modal adds Wrap ETH and shows the ETH needed to cover the difference. 5. Approve spending if the modal asks you to. For WETH, the action is Approve WETH. 6. Complete Repay loan and confirm the transaction in your wallet. Successful repayment returns the NFT to the borrower wallet. 7. After confirmation, the modal shows Loan repaid with the total and NFT number. Select Done. Portfolio removes the loan from the active list. 8. Check that the NFT is back in your wallet. You can review the completed loan in History. ## Default After an unpaid loan expires, the borrower modal shows "This loan defaulted." It replaces Due with Ended and removes the Repay button. Default depends on the repayment deadline, not the collection floor or LTV. The borrower can no longer repay, and the lender can claim the NFT. The protocol does not collect an interest-based fee after default. The contract cannot take your repayment and let the lender claim the same collateral. ## Claim Collateral Select Claim on the defaulted Lending row. The Claim default modal shows the amount lent, NFT number, and Network fee. Select Claim default and confirm the transaction in your wallet. The lender pays the gas. Wait for Default claimed, then select Done. Portfolio removes the position from the active Lending list. Check that the NFT has arrived in the connected lender wallet and review the claim in History. # Account Settings & ETH/WETH URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/account-settings Status: Open beta / under construction Switch wallets, reconnect an account, and convert between ETH and WETH. ## Switch or Disconnect a Wallet Select Switch in account settings to use another wallet. Make the intended account active inside the wallet app or extension before connecting it to Liquidium.WTF. If the wallet uses the wrong network, Liquidium.WTF asks you to switch networks. Approve the change inside the wallet. Select Disconnect to end the current session. Before reconnecting, make sure the wallet app or extension has the intended address selected. ## Convert ETH and WETH 1. Open account settings from the connected wallet. The Wallet balance card lists ETH, WETH, and USDG. 2. Select the ETH button with the conversion arrows to open Convert ETH / WETH. 3. Choose the conversion direction, enter an amount within your balance, and select Wrap or Unwrap. ETH and WETH convert one-to-one. WETH loans settle in WETH. 4. Confirm the transaction and pay the network gas. After a successful WETH-to-ETH conversion, you see WETH unwrapped. Select Done and check your updated balances. # History & Exports URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/history Status: Open beta / under construction Review settled loans, filter your history, and export your records. ## Find a Loan Select Robinhood Chain before opening History. You only see finalised borrowing and lending loans for the connected wallet on the selected network. Use All, Lending, or Borrowing, search by collection, filter by Outcome, and switch between Overview and Rows. Each row shows the collection and token, principal, repayment, term, outcome, and settlement date. Outcomes include Repaid and Defaulted, with delivery status shown where needed. ## Loan Details and Exports Select Details to review the loan breakdown, dates, terms, and available transaction data. Select Export CSV to download your records. # Leaderboard URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/leaderboard Status: Open beta / under construction See Robinhood Chain wallet rankings by lending and borrowing volume. ## How Ranking Works Compare wallets by all-time lending and borrowing volume on Robinhood Chain. Ethereum has a separate leaderboard; activity on one network does not count toward your rank on the other. Compare loan principal at current ETH and USDG prices from CoinGecko. The Robinhood Chain leaderboard includes active, repaid, and defaulted loans. Volume measures activity, not earned interest, points, or promised rewards. ## Your Rank Connect your wallet to see Your rank, lend volume, borrow volume, loans lent, and loans borrowed. Compare those figures in the table, which ranks wallets by total volume. # Fees URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/fees Status: Open beta / under construction Calculate the borrower activation fee and the protocol share of generated interest. ## Borrower Activation Fee You pay an activation fee of 0.75% of principal at the start of the loan, subject to a minimum of 1 USDG or 0.0005 ETH depending on the collection's loan currency. The protocol deducts the fee from your payout. - Activation fee = the greater of principal × 0.0075 and the applicable minimum fee. - USDG collections: minimum activation fee of 1 USDG. ETH collections: minimum activation fee of 0.0005 ETH (0.0005 WETH where the loan settles in WETH). - The minimum is a floor on the activation fee, not a minimum loan principal. Network gas is separate. - Borrower proceeds = principal − activation fee. - Open Details in the loan review to see the activation fee, the amount you receive, and the total repayment. ## Protocol Share of Interest After a borrower repays, the protocol receives 30% of the interest generated by the loan. - Protocol share = generated interest × 0.30. - The protocol does not collect an interest-based fee after default. ## Network Gas Keep ETH in your wallet for gas. Token approval, wrapping, unwrapping, loan activation, repayment, offer cancellation, and collateral claims use on-chain transactions. - Your wallet shows the network and estimated gas fee before you confirm. - Publishing an offer uses a wallet signature without a gas fee. Any required token approval or wrapping transaction costs gas. # Supported Collections, Terms & Limits URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/robinhood/supported-collections-terms-limits Status: Open beta / under construction Check launch terms, APY tiers, loan currency, and principal limits. ## Collection Settings Liquidium.WTF assigns each supported collection a loan currency and an APY tier of 150% or 200%. Check the live collection page before creating a loan or offer. The app shows the collection's currency, floor price, available terms, and loan limits. Select View from a loan, offer, or NFT modal to open the collection page on OpenSea. ## Terms - Supported launch terms: 7 days and 14 days. - Early repayment: allowed, with the full term's interest due. - Default: based on the repayment deadline, not the collection floor. ## Principal Limits The maximum principal equals 98% of the live collection floor. The protocol does not set a minimum principal. - Maximum principal = live floor × 0.98. - Check the floor again before signing because collection prices can move after you prepare an offer. ## Loan Currency The app shows the loan currency for each supported collection. Verify it in the collection view and wallet prompt before approving or signing a transaction. # Security & Audits URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/security-and-audits Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9927196-liquidium-wtf-security-audit-summary Published external audits cover Liquidium.WTF's Instant Loans and Bitcoin DLC infrastructure, not its EVM deployments. ## Audit Scope The reports below cover Liquidium.WTF's Bitcoin lending infrastructure. No. Liquidium.WTF loans do not use price-based Loan-to-Value liquidations. Each loan has a repayment deadline. If the borrower does not repay before that deadline, the loan defaults and the lender becomes eligible to claim the collateral. See [Loan Mechanics & Risks](/docs/bitcoin/loan-mechanics). ## What is the maximum lender offer amount? The maximum offer amount is tied to the floor price of the corresponding collection using Satflow data. The live amount shown in Liquidium.WTF is authoritative. If the floor price falls below an existing offer amount, the lender is notified. ## What is APY and how is it calculated? APY means Annual Percentage Yield. It expresses a yield as an annual rate and includes the effect of compounding. For the calculations used in Liquidium.WTF loan displays, see [Interest Calculations](/docs/bitcoin/interest-calculations). ## Who pays Bitcoin transaction fees? The party broadcasting the relevant transaction pays its Bitcoin network fee: - Starting a loan: the borrower pays. - Repaying a loan: the borrower pays. - Borrower claiming collateral after repayment: the borrower pays. - Lender claiming collateral after default: the lender pays. Network fees vary with transaction size and demand. See [Transaction Time & Fees](/docs/reference/transaction-time-and-fees). ## Does Liquidium.WTF charge platform fees? Instant loans and Buy Now, Pay Later charge an activation fee equal to the greater of 0.75% of the principal or 1,000 sats. For successfully repaid loans, the base platform fee is 30% of interest when the calculated fee before discounts is at least 2,000 sats. Below 2,000 sats, the platform fee is zero. Eligible LIQ and sLIQ holdings may reduce this fee. Bitcoin network fees are separate, and no platform fee is collected when a loan defaults. See [$LIQ Discounts & Bonuses](/docs/bitcoin/liq-discounts) for the published tiers and eligibility rules. ## How are loan duration and borrowing rates determined? Terms are established for each collection using factors such as historical loan data, floor-price volatility, trading volume, and loan volume. Always use the duration, principal, interest, and repayment amount shown in the live offer before signing. ## Is the Liquidium team public? Yes. Current company and team information is available on the [Liquidium company page](https://liquidium.fi/company). ## What technology does Liquidium.WTF use? Bitcoin loans use Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs), Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs), multisignature escrow, and timelocks. See [Loan Mechanics & Risks](/docs/bitcoin/loan-mechanics) and [Verify a PSBT Before Signing](/docs/bitcoin/verify-psbts). ## How long do Bitcoin transactions take? Bitcoin produces a block approximately every ten minutes on average, but a transaction may take longer to confirm when its fee rate is low relative to network demand. See [Transaction Time & Fees](/docs/reference/transaction-time-and-fees). ## What is the minimum loan size? Minimum amounts depend on the collateral and loan type. The currently documented minimum is 0.0004 BTC for Ordinals and 0.0005 BTC for Runes; the Instant Runes lending form currently requires 0.00055 BTC. The amount shown in the live app is authoritative if these limits change. ## Which collections are supported? Supported collections are shown in the [Liquidium.WTF app](https://app.liquidium.wtf/). To propose another collection, follow [Request a Collection Listing](/docs/reference/collection-listing). ## Can Liquidium.WTF use unconfirmed BTC? Liquidium normally requires enough spendable BTC. Eligible unconfirmed BTC produced and tracked through Liquidium transactions may be usable for supported back-to-back actions, including repayment. Unrelated external pending deposits may still need to confirm. If a pending transaction is not available, wait for confirmation or use the [in-app CPFP action](/docs/bitcoin/speed-up-a-transaction) when offered. # Technical & API Documentation URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/technical-api Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/13214662-liquidium-wtf-api-docs Use the Liquidium.WTF API and inspect the protocol's Bitcoin transactions. The Liquidium.WTF API allows developers, wallets, and market makers to interact programmatically with the Liquidium lending protocol. By integrating these endpoints, you can build custom interfaces, automate lending strategies, or display real-time market data for Bitcoin-native assets. ## Core Capabilities ### The API provides access to the following features: - **Market Data & Collections:** Retrieve supported Ordinal and Rune collections, including current floor prices, available liquidity, and volume statistics. - **Borrowing**: Programmatically accept loan offers for borrowing. The API handles the generation of the necessary Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs) and Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs) for secure P2P swaps. - **Order Book Management**: Access the live order book to view active lending and borrowing requests across different terms and interest rates. - **Portfolio Management:** Query active loans, historical activity, and repayment statuses for specific user wallets. ## Developer Resources For complete endpoint references, authentication details, and integration guides, please refer to the full technical documentation. **[View Full API Documentation](https://liquidium-inc.github.io/liquidium-platform/docs-v1-internal-b8f3e2a9/)** # Bitcoin Basics URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/bitcoin-basics Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9761362-bitcoin-basics Learn how Bitcoin miners confirm transactions and how fee rates affect timing. ## Overview Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that operates on a peer-to-peer network, maintained by miners who validate transactions and secure the network. Understanding the foundational elements of Bitcoin is crucial for users, especially in relation to transactions involving Ordinals. ## Key Concepts ### Blockchain and Mining - Bitcoin operates on a decentralized ledger known as the blockchain. - Miners compete to solve cryptographic puzzles. The first miner to solve the puzzle adds a new block containing recent transactions to the blockchain. - Miners are rewarded with newly created bitcoin and transaction fees paid by users of the network. ### Confirmations and Fees Bitcoin transactions confirm when miners include them in a block. Bitcoin produces a block approximately every ten minutes on average, but confirmation times vary. A transaction's fee rate and current network demand affect how quickly miners include it. - [Learn more about transaction time and fees](/docs/reference/transaction-time-and-fees). - [Speed up an eligible pending transaction with CPFP](/docs/bitcoin/speed-up-a-transaction). # Transaction Time & Fees URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/transaction-time-and-fees Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9761259-transaction-time-and-fees Estimate confirmation time from the transaction fee rate and current mempool demand. # Overview Understanding why Bitcoin transactions may take time to be confirmed is essential, especially when dealing with critical operations like loans or payments. Two primary factors influence how long a Bitcoin transaction takes: blocktime and transaction fees. This article breaks down these factors and their role in transaction delays. ## Blocktime #### What is Blocktime? - Block time refers to the approximate time it takes for a blockchain-based system to produce a new block. - Block time refers to **the approximate time it takes for a blockchain-based system to produce a new block**, dictating the speed of transaction confirmation, which is measured in transactions per second (TPS). - Bitcoin has an average blocktime of approximately 10 minutes. #### Why Blocktime Matters - Transactions are included in blocks. A transaction can only be confirmed when a miner adds a new block to the blockchain. - Since new blocks are added at intervals of roughly 10 minutes, your transaction will only be confirmed when it's included in one of these blocks. - Transactions that miss the current block must wait for the next block to be added, causing delays. #### Effects of Blocktime on Transactions - In periods of network congestion (many transactions waiting to be confirmed), transactions may take multiple blocks (multiple 10-minute intervals) to be confirmed. - Even during periods of low congestion, there is a minimum waiting time equal to one blocktime (around 10 minutes) for the first confirmation. ## Transaction Fees Transaction Fees on Bitcoin are measured in sats/vB. The transaction fees are calculated by multiplying the transaction size in virtual Bytes (vB) by the current fee rate (sats/vB). If a transaction has 1,000vB and the current rate is 10sats/vB then the transaction cost equals 10,000sats (satoshis) which is equivalent to 0.00010000 BTC. #### How Transaction Fees Work - Bitcoin uses a fee-based incentive system to prioritize transactions. - Users include fees in their transactions to incentivize miners to add their transaction to the next block. #### Low vs. High Fees - High Fees: Transactions with higher fees are more likely to be picked up by miners quickly. These transactions are included in the next available block, reducing wait time. - Low Fees: Transactions with lower fees are less prioritized by miners. If the network is congested, transactions with low fees can be left unconfirmed for extended periods until miners have space in the block to include them. #### Dynamic Fee Markets - During times of high demand (network congestion), users compete by offering higher fees to prioritize their transactions. - Fees fluctuate based on the number of unconfirmed transactions waiting in the mempool (the queue of transactions waiting to be added to blocks). - If the mempool is full, only transactions with higher fees will be processed quickly, while low-fee transactions might remain in the mempool for hours or even days. ## Interplay Between Blocktime and Fees #### Combined Impact - Blocktime defines the intervals at which new transactions can be confirmed, while transaction fees determine how likely your transaction is to be included in the next block. - Even if blocktimes remain stable (around 10 minutes), transactions with low fees can experience significant delays because they may be skipped in favor of higher-fee transactions. ## Best Practices to Avoid Delays - **Set Appropriate Fees**: Always check current network conditions and set fees that will prioritize your transaction according to how quickly you need it confirmed. - **Monitor Mempool Activity**: Check the size of the mempool to gauge network congestion. A full mempool means you may need to offer higher fees to get timely confirmation. - **Use Fee Adjustments**: Consider using CPFP if your transaction is delayed. CPFP allows you to increase the fee of an unconfirmed transaction to push it through faster. # Conclusion The time it takes for a transaction to be confirmed on the Bitcoin network is primarily influenced by blocktime and transaction fees. Understanding how these factors work together can help users avoid delays and ensure their transactions are processed within the desired timeframe. By offering appropriate fees and understanding the nature of Bitcoin's block intervals, users can optimize their transaction speeds and reduce waiting time. # How Ordinals Theory Works URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/ordinals-theory Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9948437-how-the-ordinals-theory-works Track individual satoshis and see how inscriptions stay attached to Bitcoin outputs. ## Inscribing Data When you inscribe an image or other data, you are essentially adding that data to a Bitcoin transaction. This data is inscribed onto a specific satoshi within the transaction, making it a unique digital artifact recorded permanently on the Bitcoin blockchain. ## Tracking the Inscription Once the inscription is made, the **Ordinals protocol** tracks the movement of the satoshi containing the inscription. It does this by following the location of that satoshi as it moves from one Bitcoin output to another. For example, if you inscribe an image in a transaction, the data’s location might be: **Location**: `c2dfa21c2c17d8241d472eea2534314bfe65c619be76e23f58c72bc388fd7220:2:0` This refers to the transaction ID, the specific output, and the position of the inscribed satoshi within that output. As that satoshi moves, the Ordinals protocol tracks it across the blockchain. For example, its new location might be: **Output**: `c2dfa21c2c17d8241d472eea2534314bfe65c619be76e23f58c72bc388fd7220:2` This allows the inscription to be traced wherever the satoshi goes, preserving its unique data and ensuring that its history can be verified on the blockchain. ## Conclusion Ordinals Theory allows for unique digital artifacts to exist and be tracked on the Bitcoin blockchain, making them permanent and traceable through the protocol’s ability to follow the movement of inscribed satoshis. This makes Ordinals a powerful tool for creating and maintaining digital ownership of assets on Bitcoin. # UTXOs & UTXO Consolidation URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/utxos Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9251538-utxos-and-utxo-consolidation See how spendable outputs, fragmentation, and UTXO changes affect loan transactions. ## Understanding Unspent Transaction Outputs (UTXOs) and Their Importance in Bitcoin Transactions ### The Concept of Unspent Dollars Imagine you're buying a coffee that costs 1.50 dollars, but all you have is a 20 dollar note. After the transaction, you receive 18.50 dollars in change. These coins and bills are your "unspent dollars," which you can use for future purchases. This scenario is a simple everyday example of how we manage and think about change or residual money after making a purchase. ### Unspent Bitcoins: A Digital Parallel The concept of "unspent euros" translates directly into the world of Bitcoin through what's known as Unspent Transaction Outputs, or UTXOs. These are the pieces of digital currency that remain after you make a Bitcoin transaction. For instance, if you have 1 BTC and spend 0.1 BTC, the remaining 0.9 BTC becomes your UTXO, ready to be used in future transactions. Just like your euros, these UTXOs represent the balance that hasn't yet been spent. ### Why Consolidate UTXOs? Think of receiving lots of small coins as change multiple times. Over time, you might end up with a drawer full of coins, similar to Scrooge McDuck’s vault. In the digital world of Bitcoin, holding many small UTXOs can be analogous to having many small coins. While each UTXO represents potential spending power, managing many small UTXOs can become cumbersome and expensive, particularly when transaction fees are high. Consolidating UTXOs means combining several small UTXOs into a single one. This process is akin to exchanging a pile of small coins for a few larger bills, making future transactions simpler and potentially cheaper. This is especially valuable in Bitcoin, where transaction fees depend on the size of the data sent through the network. ![](/images/docs/intercom/9251538-01.avif) ### The Risk of Not Consolidating If you neglect to consolidate your UTXOs, you might find yourself in a situation where the transaction fees required to spend those UTXOs could exceed the value of the UTXOs themselves, especially during periods of high network demand. For example, a UTXO worth €10 might cost €2.5 (or 25%) in fees now, but if fees increase, that cost could make smaller UTXOs uneconomical to spend. ### How to Consolidate UTXOs The easiest way to consolidate your UTXOs is to send all of your Bitcoin to yourself. This can be done in wallets like Xverse. To do it, copy your Bitcoin wallet address, click "send" to send Bitcoin, paste your address, set the maximum amount you can send, execute the transaction. Now once this transaction completes, all of your UTXOs should be consolidated into one large UTXO. Consolidation should be approached carefully, particularly because not all Bitcoin wallets support manual UTXO management. For those that do, such as Sparrow Wallet, the process involves selecting UTXOs within the wallet, generating a new receiving address, and sending all selected UTXOs to that new address in a single transaction. This not only tidies up your digital wallet but also optimizes future transaction fees. The **steps** to follow are as follows: 1. Generate a new receiving address in your wallet. 2. Select all the UTXOs you want to consolidate. 3. Enter the receiving address when creating the transaction. 4. Make sure to include all UTXOs as input to consolidate them. 5. Wait for transaction confirmation. ![utxo](/images/docs/intercom/9251538-02.avif) ### Why is it important for liquidium.wtf users? As liquidium.wtf utilizes PSBTs and DLCs natively, loan initiation transactions as well as repaying transactions and escrow-unlocking transactions are facilitated on Bitcoin L1. Having fewer UTXOs will make transactions cheaper in general. Especially during high-fee environments, this can be of help. ### What UTXOs does liquidium.wtf use? At liquidium.wtf, we take great care to ensure the security and efficiency of our platform. One way we do this is by only using clean UTXOs in our transactions. Here are UTXOs that are excluded: 1. unconfirmed UTXOs (i.e. in a pending transaction) 2. dust UTXOs (smaller than 333 sats) 3. small UTXOs (smaller than 1000 sats 4. UTXOs containing inscriptions (Ordinals, BRC-20, etc.) 5. UTXOs containing runes By excluding these types of UTXOs, we can ensure the safety and efficiency of our transactions. Accidentally spending or burning runes or inscriptions can result in loss of funds, and dust UTXOs can cause issues with fees and network speed. By only using clean UTXOs, we can avoid these potential problems and provide a better experience for our users. # Airdrops on Collateral URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/airdrops Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9189519-airdrops-ordinals-as-collateral Claim airdrops sent to Ordinals held in loan escrow after repayment or default. # Airdrop claim page table ![](/images/docs/intercom/9189519-01.avif) ## What is an airdrop? A crypto airdrop is the process of sending free coins or tokens to selected wallet addresses or users who meet certain criteria (for example, own a certain Ordinal collection). ## What happens if active-loan collateral receives an airdrop? The airdrop remains in the loan's escrow wallet. If the borrower repays the loan, it is unlocked with the collateral automatically. If the loan defaults, the lender can unlock the collateral and airdrop through the airdrop claim feature. **Runes note:** If Runes used as collateral receive a Runes airdrop, the original collateral and airdropped Runes are split into separate UTXOs. ## How do I find out if I have an airdrop in my escrow wallet? 1. Go to ordiscan.com. 2. Paste your Taproot (Ordinals) address and head to the "Activity" tab. 3. Find the Ordinal you used in a loan and check where it was sent to when the loan started, this is the escrow address. 4. You can click on the escrow address to see if any airdrops were sent to it. ## Who can claim the airdrop? The airdrop can be claimed by whoever is claiming the collateral -- lender or borrower. If the borrower repaid the loan, the borrower will get the airdrop. If the borrower did not repay the loan and it expired, the lender will get the airdrop. ## How do you claim the airdrop? Have a look here to see which airdrops can be claimed 👇 ### What is live regarding airdrop/rune claims? 1. An ordinal airdrop claim page for v0.3. The vault uses a 1-of-2 P2SH (Pay-to-Script-Hash) setup, allowing you to authorize transactions with just your private key. For everyday withdrawals, we recommend using the standard method in the Liquidium.WTF app: go to the Profile menu, click "Manage" in the Vault section, and select "Withdraw." In emergencies, such as when you can’t access the app, this Emergency Recovery Tool provides a backup. It lets you connect a browser wallet and sweep all assets from the vault to an address you control. The recovery tool’s code is fully open source for transparency and trust. Anyone with technical skills can also create a similar solution or script to spend from the vault using the user’s seed phrase and vault public key. This tool is designed as a last resort to ensure you’re never locked out of your funds. --- ## Where to Access? You can use the tool at the live site or fork the public github and run the app on your machine. Live site: Github: --- ## Screenshot of the Application ![](/images/docs/intercom/10748690-01.avif) --- ## Using the Liquidium.WTF Recovery Tool Follow these steps to sweep your funds from the vault in an emergency: 1. **Connect Your Wallet** Open the recovery tool and connect your browser wallet. Ensure it’s the wallet tied to your private key for the vault. 2. **Enter the Vault Public Key** Copy and paste your Vault Public Key into the provided field. - You should have saved this key when you created your vault. - Alternatively, you can retrieve it from your [settings](https://app.liquidium.wtf/settings/vault) on Liquidium.WTF. - Note: A public key is safe to share because it cannot be used to spend funds without your private key. ![](/images/docs/intercom/10748690-02.avif) 3. **Provide the Vault Address** Copy and paste the vault’s address into the tool. - Find this in the profile menu on Liquidium.WTF (under "Manage" in the Vault section). - Or, check your on-chain transaction history to locate the vault address. 4. **Select the Network Fee Rate** Choose a fee rate for the transaction. 5. **Click "Recover Funds"** Hit the Recover Funds button to initiate the process. The will create and broadcast a transaction that transfers all BTC from the vault to your connected wallet. 6. **Done!** Once the transaction is broadcast, the funds (minus the network fee) will arrive in your wallet. The network fee is deducted from the BTC in the vault. --- This emergency process ensures you retain full control over your assets when the standard in-app withdrawal isn’t available. # Strategies: Yield, Hedging & Leverage URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/strategies Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/collections/9175969-strategies Compare lending, hedging, and leverage strategies against live loan terms and risks. ## Legacy Strategy Articles - Earn yield on BTC - Mitigate risk of an Ordinals position - Leverage - Hidden features # Buy Now, Pay Later for Ordinals URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/reference/buy-now-pay-later Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/12837413-how-to-buy-now-pay-later-bnpl-for-ordinals Finance an Ordinal purchase with Liquidium.WTF Buy Now, Pay Later. Collectors can use **Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL)** to acquire premium Bitcoin Ordinals without paying the full amount upfront. Through a new integration with marketplaces like **Satflow**, Liquidium.WTF enables BNPL functionality by letting buyers **borrow BTC at the time of purchase**. This feature is powered by the Liquidium.WTF’s API, you can read more information [here](https://liquidium-inc.github.io/liquidium-platform/docs-v1-internal-b8f3e2a9/). This guide explains how it works, what happens in the background, and what to expect as a buyer or lender. --- ## **TL;DR: BNPL for Ordinals** - BNPL allows collectors to **acquire Ordinals** with paying over time. - Built on Liquidium.WTF’s peer-to-peer lending system and Bitcoin-native APIs. - Sellers receive **full payment upfront**. - Buyers repay the loan to claim the Ordinal. If they default, they lose the Ordinal. - Currently, available exclusively on **Satflow**. - Powered by **ICP’s Chain Fusion** infrastructure to ensure trust-minimized, decentralized execution. --- ## **What Is Buy Now Pay Later?** Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) lets a Buyer **secure an Ordinal today**, paying only a portion of the total price upfront. The rest is borrowed from a BTC Lender on Liquidium.WTF and repaid over a fixed duration, typically 7 to 30 days. It’s especially useful for: - Collectors who want to act quickly before floor prices rise. - Buyers who prefer **not to sell other assets** for liquidity. - Anyone who wants to access high-value Ordinals with **lower capital upfront**. --- ## **How BNPL Works (Step-by-Step)** BNPL is implemented using **Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs)** and Liquidium.WTF’s peer-to-peer loan architecture. Here’s how a transaction is completed: 1. Buyer selects an Ordinal with BNPL available on[Satflow](https://satflow.xyz). 2. Buyer chooses the BNPL option at checkout. 3. Buyer pays a **down payment** (e.g. 30% of the listing price). 4. Lenders on Liquidium.WTF provides the **remaining BTC** as a loan. 5. The Ordinal enters a **secured non-custodial escrow** 1. **If Buyer repays in time:** Ordinal is released to the buyer. 2. **If Buyer defaults:** The lender can claim the Ordinal from the escrow. The entire system almost fully operates natively on Bitcoin Layer 1. --- ## **What Happens If the Buyer Defaults?** BNPL loans are **trust-minimized and overcollateralized**. If the buyer doesn’t repay in time: - The Lender will be able to claim the Ordinal from the escrow. - The Buyer will lose **both the down payment and the Ordinal**. - The **Seller still keeps full payment** from the start. --- ## **Technical Infrastructure: Powered by ICP’s Chain Fusion** The BNPL feature is made possible through **ICP’s Chain Fusion infrastructure**, which powers Liquidium.WTF’s Instant Loans and BNPL systems. ![](/images/docs/intercom/12837413-01.avif) Here's a step-by-step breakdown of the current integration with **Satflow**: 1. **Buyer prepares UTXOs** (if needed) for partial BTC payment. 2. **Seller signs Tx1 and Tx2**. • Tx1: the original listing on Satflow • Tx2: the actual sale of the asset 1. **Buyer initiates the purchase**, requesting to pay via BNPL. 2. **The full PSBT for Tx2 is constructed**, combining inputs, outputs, and logic for Ordinals + loan. 3. **Buyer signs Tx2 with ALL.** They agree to the terms (for example: 30% purchase from buyer’s BTC & 70% utilizes a Liquidium.WTF's loan). 4. **Liquidium.wtf BNPL canister signs with ALL.** After validating the transaction, Liquidium.WTF provides the loan. 5. **Satflow signs the 2/2 inscription spend** to finalize the Ordinal transfer. 6. **Tx1 and Tx2 are broadcast,** finalizing the purchase with Liquidium.WTF providing the BTC. --- ## **BNPL Fee Structure** | **Fee Type** | **When It Applies** | **Rate / Amount** | **Notes** | | --------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ | | **Down Payment** | At time of purchase | *Typically* 20% to 40% of purchase price | Paid directly by Buyer to secure the Ordinal and initiate the loan | | **Satflow Marketplace Fee** | At purchase | 1.5% of full purchase amount | Paid to Satflow; deducted from the total | | **Liquidium.WTF** **Activation Fee** | When the loan is initiated | The greater of 0.75% of the loan amount or 1,000 sats | Paid to protocol for loan processing | | **Interest** | Upon repayment | Based on the loan amount and duration | Shown clearly before you accept loan terms | | **Bitcoin Transaction Fee** | At purchase and repayment | Based on the BTC network | Paid by Buyer (Borrower) | | **Liquidation** | If repayment is not made by loan expiry | None (Ordinal is simply claimed) | No monetary penalty, but asset is forfeited to the lender | --- ## **Example Breakdown** **Ordinal Price**: 0.5 BTC **Down Payment (30%)**: 0.15 BTC **Loan Amount**: 0.35 BTC **Satflow Fee (1.5%)**: 0.0075 BTC **Activation Fee (0.75% of loan)**: 0.002625 BTC **Interest (example: 3%)**: 0.0105 BTC (due by end of loan duration) --- ## **Why BNPL Matters for Ordinals** BNPL unlocks significant improvements for the Bitcoin Ordinal ecosystem: - **Collectors** can move faster with less capital. - **Lenders** earn yield backed by high-value assets. - **Sellers** get paid with full amount. - **Marketplaces** onboard more users with flexible payment options. In particular, BNPL is gaining adoption for **blue-chip collections** like NodeMonkes and OMB, where demand is strong and prices are high. --- ## **Try BNPL on Satflow** BNPL is currently live **exclusively on Satflow**, the pro marketplace for Bitcoin Ordinals and Runes. Look for listings with BNPL available. The option will appear at checkout. You’ll: - Connect your wallet and find BNPL options of collections. Only the collections that are listed directly on Satflow can choose BNPL. ![](/images/docs/intercom/12837413-02.avif) You can also click the “BNPL” option near “Include Fees” to filter the available collections easily. ![](/images/docs/intercom/12837413-03.avif) - Accept the loan terms. ![](/images/docs/intercom/12837413-04.avif) - Click “Authenticate for BNPL” to pay your down payment. - Secure the Ordinal and repay later through Liquidium.WTF or Satflow. For lenders, these BNPL loans behave exactly like standard Liquidium.WTF loans. Risk is mitigated through overcollateralized enforcement of the buyers’ Ordinal and time-based loan expiration. --- ## **FAQ: Buy Now Pay Later on Liquidium.WTF** ## **Who pays the interest?** The buyer. Like any borrower, you repay the principal + interest to the lender. ## **Can I use BNPL on any marketplace?** No. BNPL is currently available **only on Satflow**. ## **What happens if I don’t repay in time?** The Lender claims the Ordinal. You lose your down payment and access to the Ordinal. ## **Are BNPL loans different from normal loans?** For Lenders, no. BNPL loans follow the same terms and structure. ## **What are the loan durations?** Common terms are **7, 10, 14 or 30 days**. ## **Do I require an ICP wallet?** No. You only require a Bitcoin wallet. ICP infrastructure operates invisibly in the background. --- ## Common Issues (Troubleshooting) **“Transaction is too large, please choose another offer.”** This error appears when the Bitcoin transaction required for your Buy Now Pay Later offer exceeds the maximum standard size allowed by the Bitcoin network. - **Why this happens** Bitcoin transactions grow in size as they include more **inputs** (UTXOs). Some wallets accumulate many small UTXOs over time, and when a BNPL offer attempts to construct an initiation transaction, these inputs must be combined. If the total size of the transaction becomes too large, the Bitcoin network rejects it as *non-standard*. This limitation is defined in Bitcoin’s standardness rules and described in [BIP 431](https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BIP_0431), which outlines how excessive input counts can cause a transaction to exceed policy limits. - **What you can do now** To proceed, attempt to choose a **different BNPL offer**. - **What we’re doing long-term** We’re actively exploring improvements that will prevent this issue from occurring altogether. This includes approaches to reduce input counts, optimize transaction construction, and apply updated Bitcoin policy standards as they evolve. # User Interface URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/start/user-interface Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/9187214-user-interface Use Liquidium.WTF's borrowing, lending, portfolio, and wallet controls. ## Light vs Dark Mode On the floating footer at the bottom, toggle between dark and light mode by clicking on these icons and choosing your mode of preference. Our invite system lets you share Liquidium.WTF with friends and earn bonus points together. When someone signs up using your referral link, both you (the **Inviter**) and your friend (the **Invitee**) receive a **30% bonus** on points from the Invitee’s first **5 loans**. Here’s everything you need to know to get started: --- ## How It Works - **Bonus Details**: - The Invitee gets a 30% bonus on points earned from their first 5 loans. - The Inviter (you) also gets a 30% bonus based on the points from those same 5 loans. - After the Invitee’s 5th loan, the bonus ends, but you can keep inviting more people! Example: If the Invitee earns 1,000 points on a loan, they receive a 30% bonus of **300 points**. The Inviter also earns **a 300-point bonus** based on that loan. - **Tracking Your Rewards**: - Once someone signs up with your invite link, you’ll see their activity reflected on the [Invite friends](https://app.liquidium.wtf/settings/invitefriends) page. - All points you earn from your Invitees are displayed there for easy tracking. - You will see a record for 0 points when someone signs up using your link. - Invite points will also appear in the general point event table on the [leaderboard](https://app.liquidium.wtf/leaderboard) page. - **Important**: - For the invite to count, this has to be the first time the invitee ever connects to Liquidium.WTF. --- ## How to Find Your Invite Link You can find it [here](https://app.liquidium.wtf/settings/invitefriends) or follow these simple steps to locate and share your personal invite link: 1. **Open Your Profile**: - Log in to Liquidium.WTF and click the **Profile** button on the main screen. 2. **Go to Settings**: - Look for the **gear icon** in the top-right corner of the Profile page. - Click it to navigate to the Settings page. 3. **Find Your Invite Link**: - On the Settings page, scroll to the section labeled “Invite Link.” - Your unique referral link will be displayed here. Copy it and share it with friends! --- ## Notes - **Points Visibility**: The Settings page specifically shows all the points you’ve earned from your Invitees. Check back anytime to see your rewards grow! - **Sharing Tip**: Send your invite link via text, email, or social media. Anyone who signs up with it will start the bonus for both of you. --- ## Get Started Invite friends and earn extra points from their first 5 loans. # $LIQ Tokenomics: Introduction URL: https://liquidium.wtf/docs/bitcoin/liq-tokenomics Source: https://help.liquidium.org/en/articles/11359531-liq-tokenomics-intro Review LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN supply, distribution, utility, and governance. Protocol rewards increase the LIQ backing each sLIQ over time. ## **$sLIQ: Quick Overview** **$sLIQ** is Liquidium’s liquid staking token built on the Bitcoin Runes protocol. By staking **$LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN ($LIQ)** users receive **STAKED**•**LIQUIDIUM** **($sLIQ)**, which represents the respective staked position and grows in value compared to $LIQ as staking rewards accrue. This lets holders earn protocol revenue in $LIQ tokens while keeping their tokens liquid, transferable, and usable across the Liquidium ecosystem. It’s one of the **first Rune-based LSTs (Liquid Staking Tokens)** deployed by a live Bitcoin DeFi protocol. It expands the Bitcoin-native toolkit without bridges or wrapped assets. --- ## **$sLIQ: Overview** Traditional staking locks tokens in exchange for yield, reducing flexibility. Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) solve this by issuing a tradable token that represents the staked position and auto-accumulates rewards. **$sLIQ** follows this reward-bearing model: - Stake $LIQ → receive $sLIQ - Protocol revenue (30% of fees) is used to buy back $LIQ daily and added to the staking pool - The **exchange rate of $sLIQ and $LIQ increases** over time - Late participants stake at the updated rate - ensuring fairness - $sLIQ remains **fully tradable, transferable, and usable.** --- ## **$sLIQ: Key Facts** | **Property** | **Details** | | -------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Token | $STAKED•LIQUIDIUM ($sLIQ) | | Source Token | $LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN ($LIQ) | | Issuance Ratio | 1:1 at launch, then dynamic (reward-bearing) | | Rewards | 30% of Liquidium fees → used to buy back $LIQ on a daily via the open market | | Markets | Tradable on $sLIQ marketplaces such as Magic Eden, Dotswap, etc. | | Governance | Carries same voting power as $LIQ | | Discounts | Carries the same fee rebates/discounts as $LIQ | --- ## **$sLIQ: Mechanics** **1. Stake** Deposit $LIQ → mint $sLIQ 1:1 upon launch. Then dynamic (reward-bearing) **2. Rewards Flow** Each day, 30% of protocol fees (Liquidium.WTF and Liquidium.Fi) are used to buy back $LIQ from the open market, which is deposited into the staking contract. **3. Rising Exchange Rate** As the contract’s pool of $LIQ grows and $sLIQ’s supply stays fixed, the numeric value of each $sLIQ rises. e.g., If the pool grows 2% → next day 1 $sLIQ = 1.02 $LIQ. **4. New Stakers** New participants stake $LIQ for $sLIQ at the current rate, ensuring early stakers aren’t diluted. **5. Unstake** After a 7-day cooldown, redeem $sLIQ for your $LIQ + all accumulated rewards. --- ## **$sLIQ: Benefits** | **Benefit** | **What It Means** | | -------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Passive Yield | Earn yield without managing claims or spending Bitcoin transaction fees | | Liquidity | $sLIQ is tradable on no-custodial runes marketplaces | | Equal Governance & Rebates | Each $sLIQ carries the same voting power and fee‑rebate status as an equivalent amount of $LIQ | | Bitcoin-Native | Runs on Layer 1 using Runes and PSBTs without bridges or wrapped assets | --- ## **$sLIQ: Important Links** - This process is quite straightforward: you lend your BTC and in return, you receive interest in BTC. This is a method to generate additional income from your BTC holdings. ## Using Ordinals as Collateral The lending process involves borrowers providing collateral to secure the loan. In this scenario, borrowers use Ordinals as the collateral. Upon successful repayment of the loan, borrowers return the original BTC amount along with the agreed-upon interest. ## Yield Opportunities and Risks - **Opportunity:** On occasions where borrowers fail to repay the loan, the lender keeps the Ordinal used as collateral. This could turn into a significant opportunity if the Ordinal's market value exceeds the loan amount, possibly leading to a substantial gain for the lender. - **Risk:** However, it's critical to acknowledge the inherent risk in this arrangement. There's a chance that the value of the Ordinal could plummet, resulting in collateral that's worth less than the initial loan amount. This scenario represents the primary risk for lenders operating in this space. Understanding these dynamics is essential for anyone considering lending their BTC to earn yields. It's a scenario that blends the potential for high reward with a corresponding level of risk. --- **Disclaimer:** This article does not constitute financial advice, and we strongly recommend conducting your own research and consulting with a professional financial advisor before making any investment decisions. The Ordinals and Runes space, while offering exciting opportunities, can also be volatile. This article explores a strategy that leverages borrowing on Liquidium.WTF to potentially mitigate downside risk in your Ordinals or Runes holdings. **1. Example Scenario** Let's illustrate with an example: - You purchase an Ordinal for 0.3 BTC. - You are concerned about a potential price drop. - Using Liquidium.WTF, you borrow 0.28 BTC against this Ordinal as collateral. Now, consider two outcomes: - **Scenario A: Price Falls** - The Ordinal's value drops to 0.20 BTC. - If you had held the Ordinal without borrowing, your loss would be 0.10 BTC (0.3 BTC - 0.20 BTC). - However, by borrowing, you can choose to default on the loan. You lose the Ordinal (worth 0.20 BTC), but you keep the 0.28 BTC you borrowed. - **Scenario B: Price Stays the Same or Rises** - The Ordinal's value remains at 0.3 BTC or increases. - You repay the 0.28 BTC loan (plus interest) to retain ownership of your Ordinal. - You participate in any price appreciation. **2. Borrowing as a "Put Option"** This strategy bears a resemblance to "buying a put option" in traditional finance. **What is a Put Option?** A put option gives the option buyer the right, but not the obligation, to sell an asset at a specific price (the strike price) within a specific timeframe. It's used to protect against price declines. Actually, borrowing on Liquidium.WTF can also be seen as “buying a put option”. | **Classical Put Option** | Liquidium.WTF **Borrow-Against-NFT** | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | | Pay an **option premium** | Pay **interest** on the loan (economic equivalent of the premium) | | Gain the **right, not the obligation,** to sell the asset at the strike price | Gain the **right, but not the obligation,** to walk away and let Liquidium.WTF keep the collateral if floor prices crash | | If the asset drops below the strike, exercise the put and limit further losses | If the Ordinals/Runes value falls below the loan value, simply default: you lose the asset but keep the borrowed BTC | | If the asset rises, allow the option to expire; total cost = premium | If the Ordinals/Runes value holds or rises, repay principal + interest and reclaim the asset; upside preserve | This strategy aims to secure a profit from a falling price while keeping the Ordinal. However, it's important to consider the risks, such as the price not falling as expected or fluctuating market conditions. This strategy can be particularly beneficial for acquiring more ordinals, especially if you anticipate an increase in their value. Here's how it works: 1. **Assess Your Current Holdings**: Evaluate the ordinals you currently own and their market value. 2. **Secure a Loan**: Use your existing ordinals as collateral to secure a loan. The liquidity obtained can then be used to purchase additional ordinals. 3. **Invest in More Ordinals**: With the borrowed funds, buy more ordinals that you believe will increase in value over time. 4. **Monitor the Market**: Keep an eye on the market trends and the value of your newly acquired ordinals. 5. **Sell at a Profit**: When the value of the ordinals you purchased has increased sufficiently, you can sell them for a profit. 6. **Repay the Loan**: Use a portion of your profits to repay the loan, including any interest owed. 7. **Enjoy Your Gains**: The remaining profit is yours to keep, effectively increasing your net worth through strategic leveraging and investment. This approach allows you to expand your portfolio and potential earnings without having to liquidate your initial investments. However, it comes with its risks as it involves speculation on market movements and the obligation to repay the borrowed funds regardless of the outcome. --- **Disclaimer:** Leveraging existing ordinals for liquidity, as described above, carries significant risks and is speculative in nature.
